We hadn't gone to this restaurant for a number of years...because it never knocked us out. However, a coupon received in the mail for $40 off if we spent $75 made us decide to try it again. Our experience was less than optimum. We are foodies and we have rather discriminating palates. So, you may feel differently than we do. I am a salt lover and almost always add salt on my food. I know - the chefs hate that. I had the mushroom soup and the halibut. The only discernable flavor in both dishes was...SALT. Too salty for my taste. The asparagus and cherry tomato side dish was very pretty, but..other than salty, tasteless. My wife ordered the Caesar salad, which she said was good. She also ordered the ribs with fries and cole slaw. Her ribs were literally cold and she had to send them back to be reheated. The fries were cajun...too spicy for her and she loves spicy, so she ordered a side of regular fries which came well before her reheated ribs. The cole slaw was totally forgettable. I ordered two bourbons on the rocks. Based upon the short-poor, $20 was too steep a price IMO. And, price is no object to us. We'll pay ultra high prices for the right experience. The manager came over and apologized for the ribs. We aren't the kind of people who ask for anything, and we didn't...and nothing was offered...although they didn't charge for the side of fries. I might add that our waitress was mostly absent and had to be hunted down several times. The servers were, however, very good. Oh, when I made the reservation, they asked if we were celebrating anything. I replied that it was my birthday. The hostess placed. a little placard on the table which said, "happy birthday." That's it. So, my $40 coupon got me two bourbons and a less than satisfactory meal. Needless to say, I can't imagine we will be dining there again anytime soon.

Arrived at the reservation time and was immediately seated, just the 2 of us. Server was nice, but was dealing with another large party, so after our initial drink and appetizer order was taken, it was 20-25 minutes before she came back to take our dinner order. Wife had a fried chicken dinner, I had a tri-tip dinner. Her entree was perfect, mine was lukewarm. There were a couple of sides as well, mine were hot and perfect, hers were lukewarm. We let them know through opentable we were celebrating a birthday, and they gave us a brownie w/ice cream and fruit in a cast iron skillet - very nice and much appreciated, but was not expected. I've been here for business lunches before, and the service was a little better. If you're going to be spending $150+ for 2 people (1 drink each, one appetizer, 1 entree each), this was an underwhelming overall experience. Food was a B+, service was a B --

Service was excellent. Food was ok, two of us had prix fixe menu and tri-tip was tough and chewy :-( Disappointing.

Martini glasses arrived half full, skirt steak was reheated and not fresh. When this was communicated to the waitress, her response was “oh” and nothing was done to correct the situation or discount the check.

Always great food, always great wait staff. Beautiful inside and out. I'm not sure what else to say.

The food is just ok. We keep going back to try it again - alas, nothing special. It’s been the same menus for over -15 + years. Come on guys kick it up a notch!

Excellent food. Expensive like most good restaurants. Excellent server named Collin. Hard to judge value for the cost. You just can not eat in a good restaurant without paying almost twice what you use to!

Had a nice meal at Paul Martin’s American Grill. The crab cake appetizer was the size of two typical crab cakes and was tasty. The blackened ribeye was properly cooked, as requested.
