Patsy’s Pizzeria first opened its New York City location at 2287 1st Avenue in 1933, and quickly established itself as a family style, old-fashioned neighborhood restaurant. Patsy’s Pizzeria catered to the growing population of Italian immigrants who longed for the cuisine of their homeland in a casual family style atmosphere.

My entree, the Pork Chop Milanese, was excellent. The coating had just the right amount of crispiness to stand up to the Arugula salad on top. I might recommend adding a lemon wedge on the side. The potato croquettes were interesting; prepared more like an Arancini than a typical potato croquette (they were very good). The Clams Oreganata were a bit disappointing. First, they were really small in size. Second, the dish was kind of soupy (what should have been in the clam shell was on the plate). But it made for a good dip for the bread.

We went for the comedy night and also had live music with 4 comedians they were great, laughed all night it was wonderful.

This was the worst food ever. Baked clams drowned in sauce. Chicken Martini inedible. Worst chicken scarp I have ever tasted. Only thing edible was broccoli Rabe. Place was empty for good reason. They need a new chef.

Service needs improvement. Not very organized. Food was okay. Portion are made for children. Not a place I would visit again. New Rochelle is much better.

Took forever to get food (two hours) and our order was wrong. We sadly won’t be going back.

Avoid going here on Sunday evening unless you enjoy listening to off-key karaoke singers.

Terrible service - asked for coffee multiple times, they kept forgetting to bring it. Ordered a dessert that we ended up cancelling because they never brought it. Very big communication issues with the staff as they let us know directly they spoke little to no English. When we asked for things, we never received them because she didn’t understand us. It was very frustrating and kept having to find another waiter to assist with translation and ordering. The food we did get was delicious though.
