Service was excellent. Food was hit or miss. Two specials-fried quail and NY strip were just not great. The quail was overcooked. NY strip had very strong smoke flavor, off putting. Fish almondine and rib eye were delicious. Nice location on the lake.

I made a reservation for 3 for inside. Our guest is from out of town. She arrived before us and requested a table outside ( none had been taken yet). We arrived a couple of minutes behind and when we were all together the hostess made a big point of saying next time we want to sit outside do not make a reservation then cancel it. Hmmm our out of town guest had no knowledge of the rules about sitting outside. That turned out to be disastrous anyway because we were inundated with flies. All over the food silverware drinks napkins. Please get some pest control for the patio.

We had an “ok” couples dinner Friday night. It took at least 20 minutes to get a waitress over to even take a drink order & another 10 before we got waters. The food was decent, but not over the top great. One of our fish dishes was overcooked. The desserts were not as good as at 527. I think at 527 ice cream is added to the ooey gooey, which cuts the sweetness. None was added here. Not sure if we’re supposed to receive bread either. Oh, & my bill was overcharged by $20. :(

Everything was great from start to finish. The staff looked like they were having a good time while still working together. The manager Patrick check on us a few times to make sure things were up to par. I ordered the steak special and Billy came out of the kitchen to deliver it himself. My son got the cedar plank fish and was impressed by the taste and presentation. Our server was there to make sure all of our needs were met with a smile throughout the night. 10/10! Great job by all…thanks for a nice evening out!

Fast and friendly service. Can’t believe they don’t offer the fried goat cheese ball on the beet salad anymore. That was what made it special, more so when honey drizzled on top. Good mixed drinks. The hanger steak was delicious with the Hoisin sauce marinade. Oyster prices are high, didn’t order. Overall, a frequent favorite in our rotation.
