outside ambience is great but it was too hot so we sat inside and it smelled weird. Our waitress was very nice, friendly and helpful but the food was nothing special

There 40 minutes before order was taken. At 90 min still had no food. Waitress delivered drinks, 20 min later took order. Never came back to check on us unless we asked hostess to find her. Food was barely warm. We won’t be back.

It was fine. Waitress was wonderful and carefully steered us away from several dishes towards the few she said were actually good. Wine list and cocktail list above average for a smaller venue. Our food was good not great but we didn’t see many other choices in town.

Everything we had was delicious. Debris fries for an appetizer, crawfish etoufee and the pot roast were all top notch.

We had a 1:30 pm reservation. Because of the noise level we wanted to eat inside but were told there were no tables. We ordered onion rings as an appetizer—the batter was so thick it literally fell off the onion. It was quite a while before we received our orders-omelet with side of sausage and eggs with bacon. There was far too much food to eat and the eggs were scrambled until brown. We would have preferred better food and less of it. We had high hopes for Patio 44 but really would most likely never return.

Easter brunch was busy, but waiting for refills and coffee was still overly lagging. Was not expecting ”live music” especially bluesy/rock covers. I do not come there to listen to music. Please just put it on jazz and let people actually talk and listen to each other -especially for Easter brunch. Even on weekends, many people are on a date and just want to be able to speak. Maybe after 7 or 8 even. Either this is a nice place to eat or it’s a place for live music- it can’t be both. Our waitress was very sweet and checked on us just slow on the refills. Other waiters were walking around with a water pitcher and coffee to refill their tables. She brought us new ones and had to “brew coffee” twice. This seemed to be a time waster and dish waster. Training seems to be inconsistent along with whatever vibe this restaurant wants to be. The food was great and we were pleased overall. It’s the little things that need fine turning.

Patio 44 has a great vibe especially when weather is nice. The food was really good and you get nice portions for the money.
