Our curries are inspired by increasingly popular dishes in England, where they have become more and more of a staple. “Curry” is a term that was previously nonexistent in the Indian culinary landscape and was traditionally used by the British in Colonial Indian to mean anything with “spicy gravy.” Our selection of curries below showcase that unique Anglo-Indian flavor. Wealsointend tointroduce traditional dishes in Hyderabadi cuisine to our beloved customers using our unique insight and vast knowledge, including Mutton marag, Hyderabadi biryani and kebabs. Mutton marag is a rich soup recipe made with tender mutton attached to the bone, a dish that has been popular in Hyderabad for years. Additionally, biryani and kebabs are believed to have originated in the kitchens of the Nizam, rulers of the historic Hyderabad state, as a blend of Mughlai cuisine.

Wish we lived closer! Amazing food and service. Took us early and helped us pick the perfect appetizer. Lamb and shrimp entrees were incredibly tender and tasty.

Found this great gem of an Indian restaurant near Penn station. We were warmly greeted, and the service throughout was attentive and helpful. The food came quickly and was enjoyably authentic and delicious!

The food was excellent and good value for the price. They have a lot of vegan options, including bread. It has a nice ambiance and is very clean. The service was exceptional. I will definitely be going back!

Fantastic vibe and the food was delicious. A few items were brand new to us and the staff was super helpful explaining the food preparation and helping us select a great meal. Have already been recommending it to friends. We will go back.

We dined at Patiala before an 8 pm show. The service was great, the food came out fast and the food was very delicious. The perfect amount of spice and lots of veg options! Be sure to double check the address of the location you need to go to - when I followed the link from Open Table in Apple Maps, it took us to the other location. That was our own fault, not the restaurant’s! Highly recommend!

Good food, not the best I have had though. They put you down on a table real quick and offer you water, which turned out to be 10 dollars for not even a 1 liter. Very nice people, but it just feels like they want you out of there with in 30 minutes.

I was visiting New York having travelled from London on a work trip. I came across this restaurant whilst searching top indian restaurants in the area and with a 4.8/5 star rating located close to Time Square it ticked the boxes. The location was perfect and the interior of the restaurant stunning. A beautiful bar, lovely decor, branded crockery and an owner, Srinivas Gangula who made me feel extremely welcome and discussed the menu with me. Being a big foody and well travelled I have eaten at some of the best indian restaurants in the world and this is up there with them. Food was fresh, perfectly prepared and presented and cooked authentically with stunning flavours. Not commonly found are mutton dishes as these are more difficult and time consuming to prepare than Lamb dishes. I had the mutton curry on the bone and it was delicious. The chicken kadahi was stunning as was their chaat and fish amritsari. The tawa roti topped this off with some masala tea and gulab jamun to finish off. If in New York and looking for a good indian then do not look elsewhere - visit this place and you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be visiting again and hoping to see more branches opening up. Good luck to the owner and team and congratulations for doing such a great job. Well done!!!!

Nice atmosphere, service, and food. A great addition to the neighborhood. I will be going back. The portions were generous.
