Standing proudly on Wimbledon High Street, our seventh Patara combines art and craft to give a deceptively spacious feel to the interior. Clean lines are married to detailing which draws inspiration from the intricacies of Thai carving and three distinct spaces in which diners can enjoy themselves: the 80-cover restaurant itself, 50-seat outdoor terrace and casual lunchtime Yum Bar. Serving a mix of stunningly authentic and playfully modern dishes, Patara Wimbledon brings all the best aspects of Thailand to SW19.

It was very disappointing apart from the Bass which was excellent. Service was slow but polite. Very poor value for money and a brand that’s lost it way

Very pleasant restaurant with charming staff. Lovely courtyard for summer evenings. Starter dishes are particularly good. Downside is that it had become really expensive….

Expensive for size of the portions. The cheaper desert price is 10 pounds ice cream with cooked banana

Patara has always been famous for amazing flavours and tasty food. This time I found that the tables were not well cleaned (sticky, actually). My soft shell crab with mango salad was questionably fresh, thus I decided not to eat it. The selection of drinks and food in general is good, but quality and ambience need to improve as this is what Patara was always good at, but not this time round.

The food was really nice but very very salty. I think they should reduce the amount of salt they add to to dishes.

Only 2 staff so service very slow. Prices have increased. A very expensive midweek meal.

We chose the special menu based mainly on fish dishes. Although fairly expensive based on a set price per person the variety of dishes, presenatation, and cooking were of a very high standard and I have no hesitation in highly recommending this restauarant for its food service and atmosphere. Thank you for an excellent lunch.
