Pasjoli is an elevated French bistro from James Beard award-winning chef Dave Beran. The restaurant pays homage to French cuisine utilizing the bounty of produce available in Southern California. Rooted in classic French cooking and inspired by Parisian markets, pasjoli reflects Chef Dave’s thoughtful cooking style, showcasing his creative touches on bistro fare.

We offer seating both indoors in our dining room and outdoors in our back (secret) garden, which you will choose when booking your reservation.

Each evening, we have limited availability of pressed duck dinners. If you are interested in enjoying a pressed duck for two, please email info@pasjoli.com, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

NOTE: Starting September 16th, our menu will change from à la carte to prix fixe. You will have the option to choose between a five-course menu for $95 per person or our special pressed duck dinner served in five-courses for $125 per person.

Lors de son ouverture en 2019, Pasjoli a contribué à la naissance d'une nouvelle ère gastronomique sur la Main Street, rue animée de Santa Monica. Le chef Dave Beran, lauréat du James Beard Award, est un virtuose de la cuisine française ayant le souci du détail, apportant des touches modernes à des plats traditionnels comme le tartare de steak maturé à sec au pesto de capucine et le canard au sang pour deux, qui fait sensation. L'élégante salle à manger ornée de voûtes fait de chaque repas une occasion spéciale.

The overall experience was wonderful! The decor is lovely and inviting. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent. We throughly enjoyed our evening!

Chef Jilli’s dishes and creativity for Filipino night was excellent (I am Filipina). Service was awesome as well (Devon). Sommelier’s recommendation for the Alsacyan white wine went perfectly with the entrees as well. Very happy we drove over from Pasadena on a Thursday night. Excellent!

Love when they have the scallop quenelles on the menu. One of the greatest expressions of quenelles I have ever experienced.

Flew in from SF to celebrate a friend’s birthday and pasjoli did not disappoint. I’ve had this restaurant circled on my list for quite some time (duck is my absolute favorite). After cocktails and caviar we, moved on to the foie gras, followed by the duck, the basque cheese cake is also a must (the soufflé was great but if I had to pick one it’d be the cheesecake). Staff was ultra ultra ultra friendly and welcoming. Absolutely cannot recommend pasjoli enough - seriously one of the best meals in recent memory. The only slight letdown is that we didn’t get the duck press table side which I was a little bummed about, my buddy didn’t care. We were one of the last tables and it definitely felt like the kitchen was done for the evening and wanted to get outta there. Not that we felt rushed but given the bill, it would’ve been cool if they took the extra step. I personally don’t love watching the kitchen scrub down as I eat but I know it doesn’t bother most people. Those small things aside, I’d definitely go back. And if I lived in the area; it’d be a regular date spot for me. santé

We arrived 10 minutes early but were promptly shown to our table in the "hidden garden". No waiting was nice! The service was prompt, the outdoor area was heated, the food was perfectly timed, and everything was delicious! We like to bring our own wine and their corkage fee is steep ($75) with only one bottle allowed per table. They do back up this limitation with a strong wine list and knowledge sommelier. But a major draw back is their commitment to the French experience: the bar is very limited. Don't come for alcohol from anywhere but France...

Food is stunning! Among appetizers the onion tarte is unbelievably delicious. Wonderful main courses. Dessets are out of this world. Small but excellent wine-by theglass- selection. Service is excellent, helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Even the miserable, insurferrably loud music could not ruin the meal. Parking is not easy to find,there is no valet parking. 18% tip is included.
