We came here to celebrate my Mom’s birthday. I had been to Paseo before and had a great experience so I suggested to my family that we bring Mom here. We were running late after waiting in the line at security and I called to let the restaurant know we were on our way and they were very nice about it. Food and drinks were great just like last time but service was so dismal it put a real damper on our celebration. Each time we had to ask for something, our server seemed annoyed and took forever to come back. We ordered four small plates/appetizers to start and with cocktails and share plates on the table, space was at a premium but empty plates were not cleared to make room. Everything did get cleared before entrees…including our silverware. While we waited for entrees I wondered if anyone would bring us forks and knives before our food arrived. Our food came, without utensils. We asked for silverware and then awkwardly sat there staring at our food. Utensils did arrive but my Father was still waiting for his entree. Since we had already waited for forks we just decided to start eating. His entree, the red snapper, did eventually come and he was very happy with it. We were also short a steak knife. I asked for one but it never arrived. The table ended up awkwardly sharing one steak knife for the whole meal, passing it back and forth. In my reservation I did note that we were celebrating my Mom’s birthday but no mention of it was made at all. Definitely didn’t expect anything free but this is a fine dining establishment at a Disney resort. I thought someone would at least wish my Mom a happy birthday or thank her for celebrating there. The food at Paseo is wonderful and I will certainly be back. I just hope service improves.

Our server was not very good. He only checked on us once, didn’t bring one of my drinks until I asked again, spilled on our table and didn’t clean it up until he noticed it bothered me. He just didn’t seem to care.

The whole experience was great. The food tasted amazing, service was perfect, and even kid friendly. Would recommend!

Our food was tasty and enjoyable. We had the most fabulous waiter, Luis, who went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. We splurged today by ordering a dessert called “Maiz”. Great presentation and unique flavors. We had a great time! Thanks Luis!

The food was good but the hostess service needs some help. The restaurant is in downtown disney and you’d expect that many families dine there. We had a 1 year old - they told us they ran out of high chairs because they kept breaking which was strange. We were then told we could bring our stroller into the restaurant for the baby. Eventually a party was sat next to our table and the hostess rudely (while rolling eyes) asked that the stroller be removed - after they told us we could bring it in because there was no high chair. The family time together was ruined by the hostess staff which was unfortunate. Our server was very nice and the food was good. They just need to work out some of the service kinks. It’s a beautiful restaurant.

Paseo was magnificent. Absolutely beautiful ambience and food. I cannot express how grateful I am to experience such authentic flavors and dishes, especially coming all the way from South Carolina. I would recommend it anytime and will be a favorite every visit
