    The waiter was very patient and gentle in the beginning. Then it got busy, no serving utensils provided for the deserts. After some failed attempts to get attention, I had to get up and grabbed some utensils on my own. We wish it were easier to swallow the ahi tuna for all of us who ordered it. The lovely mushroom broth would have been more enjoyable if it were a little warmer. Thanks to the large pork chop and the delicious deserts, we didn’t leave hungry. I heard that the risotto was good, with the add on Shrimps

    The food was outstanding and a long delay for our main resulted in the staff comping our drinks without even having to ask. Definitely going back!

    Everything was lovely but the room was FREEZING!! We had to keep jackets on during our meal. On the other hand, it was a slow night and only a few other guests besides us so heating a room with only a few people is expensive, we got that. Will return perhaps on a wkend as the weather turns colder and our bodies need to adjust. Nice service, great drink, lovely cozy ambiance. Cheers!

    The restaurant has a wonderful ambience. Our cocktails were superb. The waiters timing was a little off. I ordered the duck and my partner got the pork chop. We split the Caesar salad, which was good – – beware it has four anchovies on it. The duck breast was said to come with a blackberry compote which was nonexistent. The duck was undercooked and fatty and very rubbery. Oddly, it had one very large large blueberry on the plate and three pomegranate seeds? Our waiter never came to ask us how our meals were after they were served. The dessert menu was very uninspired. For $200 we thought it would be much better.

    The venue was very pretty and romantic. The perfect place for a warm night of outdoor dining. It was quite and peaceful. The food was good and the service was great. Easy parking near by

    The food was good, but we had to wait a long time for drinks, appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. Everything! From the time we sat down, it was over 2 hours till we left. I don’t blame the server, but I feel the organization and, production of kitchen nerds improvement on getting the dish prepared quicker. The drinking room was not full either.

    Disappointing. We’ve eaten at Paseo many times over the past few years and we really enjoyed the food and the service - creative and fresh California-Mediterranean. Unfortunately there’s been a change in chefs and along with it a new menu which is frankly more in linewithwhat you’d find at a hotel or club. Very dull. Nothing that would make a client or your 13 year old uncomfortable. Adding to the disappointment was the preparation. Both the pork chop and the (very expensive) wagyu steak were overdone, approaching dry. The pork chop and the accompanying veg were covered in a sweet sauce - any contrasting flavors were lost. The ceviche was flavorless, no citrus or heat. The scallops were okay. At least they weren’t overdone. Service was decent, although the servers didn’t ask how we’d like our pork chop & steak prepared - we had to chase down the order and even then it was overcooked. Wine by the glass took over 10 minutes to arrive. positives were the olive oil shortcake, the fries and the Parker house rolls Please Please Please improve the menu and the preparation, Paseo is a wonderful space and deserves so much better
