An excellent experience. The service could not have been better. The food was excellent. The interiors are cozy and extremely inviting. The only thing that might have been better was the temperature. It was rather warm inside.

We had dinner at the Parsonage Grill to celebrate my 50th. We were very well looked after and and made to feel welcome. They were very accommodating with our requests and very good service. It is a lovely restaurant. The food was also very good

We have been to the Parsonage Grill on numerous occasions and return time and time again. The ambience, quality of service and food has always been excellent. This visit was for a birthday celebration and all expectations were met. They even took special care to make our 3 year old spaniel welcome

We had a memorable and very enjoyable experience. The garden terrace was a wonderful setting. The service outstanding and the food was an excellent choice of Cornwall crab in a pot, lamb rump entree, and dessert. A favorite place in Oxford.

Nice atmosphere and friendly welcome. Food good but not amazing. Cheese souffle starter was not particularly good, but lamb was very tasty. Charging for a few slices of pretty average bread & butter seemed penny-pinching. Not haute cuisine, but perfectly pleasant.

Would not recommend lovely on the terrace but once inside very dark like an old fashioned gentleman club old copper tea light olders and wine cooler belonged more in country pub rather than restaurant food definitely disappointing and expensive steal and chips 38.00 with not even a piece of tomato on side had to pay 6.00 pounds extra for what was described has spring greens so thought mange to or even broccoli but soggy horrible green cabbage arrived instead the desert was the best but at 12.50 for summer pudding with no cream it should have been also wine to expensive and lastly we had 12.5 % service charges on top will not be back

The food was wonderful but the experience was let down by the service. We ordered wine with the meal but the wine did not appear until after we had finished the meal. This was very disappointing. The waitress seemed to do everything she could to avoid us and I attracted the attention of the man behind the bar who then seemed to recognize our plight and went to find the waitress. She did not appear. I would recommend some staff training for the wait staff. They should be aware of their customers, not have tunnel vision bt continually scan the restaurant to see if customers have a need. The wait staff seem to have tunnel vision only in moving from point to point which indicates they have no sense of situational awareness. This can be solved through training. My wife had been to the restaurant previously and had told me that she and her friends had some issues with staff attention so I suspect this is a systemic issue and not a one off. If you are sincere about requesting feedback then I suggest you act upon that feedback if you want customers to return.

Food is delicious. Service is good. Furniture is a little dated, sorry. I always enjoy dining at Old Parsonage.
