It is a lovely place and the food is excellent, but unfortunately we had to send back our steaks as they were overcooked . They did give us new ones which were perfect. Great evening and deserts fabulous.

Very pleasant atmosphere on the terrace and the monkfish was very nice too. Make sure you get the sourdough bread to start - it has a great malted flavour.

Great atmosphere and food. More waiters would be great as service is a bit slow.

Fantastic location and beautiful outdoor space. Menu for lunch is perfect and food we ordered was well-executed and presented. The only thing that needs further work is the attention to detail on service, bread ordered didn't come, had to be asked for again and came late to main course. Condiments asked for had to be re-asked for. But staff are friendly, just need a more reliable system.

Both the cheese souffle and the rabbit pie were excellent, as was the Bordeaux, all for a very modest price. Service was friendly, attentive, and wholly professional. There was a minor confusion about the bill (my fault for not reading it carefully), but that was quickly resolved. The setting is also elegant but unpretentious and relaxing.

The staff were very helpful to a member of our group who was in a wheelchair. The food took a while to come but otherwise the food and service were excellent.

My wife and I were taking a young Indian friend for a celebration lunch after his graduation as a Master in Architecture (Oxford Brookes). The Old Parsonage (which my wife and I have visited several times before) could not have been more perfect in terms of ambience, food and staff attentiveness. We had a lovely, unhurried and happy meal.

Everything was good. Busy service, waiter seating plan could be better, space out rather than putting all guests next to each other. Deset lemon tart was very nice and good portion. Cheesecake was a bit tasteless, too thin biscuit base. Overall nice ambience even at the bar area.
