This is a "new to us" restaurant since last visiting PV. Great "change of pace" from all the traditional Mexican fare.... Extremely fine service and, overall, good value. We definitely recommend.....

The food is absolutely amazing! The decoration is beautiful and they have the best service. The staff was extremely attentive, made great suggestions. This will definitely be my new go-to spot!

It is a loud room. Food is good, they did the best they knew how. I mean it IS Mexico. And the manager was very very attentive. We appreciated that. Not everyone wants a loud Cabo Wabo experience, music was loud, but they were very accommodating.

Went for Restaurant Week in Puerto Vallarta last night. Very nice ambiance and great service. Loved my Miso Soup appetizer and Oreo’s dessert. My fried chicken dinner wasn’t bad just not what I expected. I’ll return. Derrick

This was our first time to ParrotFish and we will definitely be going back. The menu was creative without being over-exotic, and every dish was delicious. Our waiter, bless his heart, met our many extra demands and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. For reasons of our own that had nothing to do with the restaurant, we changed tables twice. The staff was very kind and cool about that. The decor is elegant, and well air-conditioned. This is off-season so when we got there at 7PM we were the first group in the restaurant. However, after an hour or so the place was filling up with diners. Why only 4 stars instead of 5 stars overall? Especially since I rated each and every category with 5 stars? Well, it's because of the wine by the glass. The wine list is very respectable and the prices are reasonable. However, the by-the-glass pour is tiny -- probably about 2 ounces or maybe 2.5. The ladies in our group were not pleased with this, as the normal expectation is about 5 - 6 ounces for a glass of wine. So, we ended up buying 2 bottles. One couple "upgraded" the by-the-glass to the now-opened bottle and the other couple ordered a new bottle. It's a wonderful experience, and I hope the managers allow the size of the wine pour to be upgraded.

Una lista de vinos MUY pobre con opciones de muy mala calidad a precios excesivos y además el 50% de los vinos en el menú no los tienen disponibles, probablmente su cocteleria es mejor pero esa no la probanos. La calidad de los alimentos deja mucho que desear para los precios que manejan.

Always a great time at Parrotfish, their food is fantastic and their service is amazing! Went here during Restaurant week and I had the lemon-y shrimp as an appetizer, the New York steak as a main dish, and cheesecake for dessert. Needless to say everything was delicious! A++++

The service was excellent and the ambience was quiet throughout the evening. Food presentation was beautifully done and tasty. However the Restaurant Week portions were very small and would probably order off the regular menu. I left hungry and I’m a small eater… but the food was good.

No wine by the glass. Bao was ok. Shrimp was good. Fried popcorn chicken was good. Steak was cold, fatty and stringy. Cheesecake was inedible. Oreos were ok. I won't go back.
