Lively and noisy atmosphere. Food was tasty but over priced. Chipped potatoes were dull but fish tacos v good. Our steak was over cooked. Requested medium rare and it came out well done. Cocktails were fabulous though.

Parrilla is a great addition to Ranelagh. Had a good choice of Mexican style plates, which were ideal for sharing. They have a cocktail menu from which we tried the margaritas, I would recommend. Got the brownie for dessert which was delicious. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere in restaurant was lovely for an evening meal. We will definitely be back.

Food was great as were the margaritas. The addition of Modelo to Ranelagh cannot be overstated. While the service was good overall, the only slight would be the time taken to clear plates after the tacos. Ranelagh was crying out for a good Mexican restaurant and it now has one.

Great vibe and cocktails, interesting menu, and good to have another Mexican-inspired option in Dublin. Unfortunately there is poor value in the food, and they haven’t yet worked out the kinks of service. We ordered a duck carnitas main that said it fed 2-3 people — but it was served as two whole duck legs and thighs, not shredded and with no tools to shred it (like you would expect for duck pancakes) and only 6 tiny corn tortillas. We also ordered focaccia at the insistence of the waitress which never arrived and was still on the bill. Spent €80 and left hungry. Might come back for drinks in the future but not my new fav
