Parkside is a locally owned and operated Downtown Raleigh Restaurant located at the entrance of the Warehouse District. Parkside is situated on the corner of West Martin and South Dawson streets across from historic Nash Square. It was this urban park, one of the four original parks in downtown that inspired the name Parkside.

Housed at street level and under the longest running neon restaurant sign in North Carolina you will find our doors, which have been the threshold to hospitality for this neighborhood for over one hundred years. Parkside believes in continuing this tradition in every way. From the warm red brick and reclaimed barn wood clad bar to the NC solid poplar tabletops, we want our guests to feel welcome. Whether you are sampling one of our 25+ beers on tap or enjoying our chef inspired locally sourced fare, your experience is our priority.

                                                                                            We were seated immediately. Our waitress took our order but never brought out our water. We never saw her again until the end of the meal. Others brought our food and water. The place is very noisy. It is a casual place and a bit run down. Food was ok, the pork chop was small but tasty. Would we go back? No.

                                                                                            First time here at the restaurant, my experience was very good. Food was hot and fresh the way that I like it the fried pickles was amazing. Very crispy the way I like it.

                                                                                            Super great food. Literally dreaming about the Braised Short Rib Stroganoff. Husband had the prime rib, and absolutely loved it. The green beans are definitely worth mentioning, but all the sides were delicious.

                                                                                            Service and ambiance was all I had hoped for. However the breaded chicken that two of use had ordered was very overdone and my hash browns had been in a warmer far to long. This was the first meal I have had at Parkside that was less than excellent.

                                                                                            Bananas Foster Challah French Toast- 10/10 Great flavor and presentation. Chicken & Waffle Sandwich-9.5/10 Unique flavor. The red dipping sauce was flavorful. Macaroni and Cheese-6/10. Cheese Grits 8/10. Overall rating - 8/10 I will revisit and try new sides. The server was excellent and I was seated fast.

                                                                                            The white staff was incredible. The food is awesome and the atmosphere is friendly great place for breakfast brunch lunch or dinner I recommend Parkside restaurant.

                                                                                            I was able to reserve a table for 8 people in advance for a business meeting. I made notes to go ahead and order appetizers. The restaurant received the information and had the appetizers ready for when they got there. I was easy and convenient.
