Established in 2016 with the vision of providing great food and drinks in an upbeat casual dining atmosphere. We chose the city of Lawrenceville to outpost our flagship operation because of its historical background and the love that Lawrenceville natives possess. Our motto here at Parkside District is to provide great food and drinks, outstanding service, lively entertainment and a high level of attention to detail.

I made reservations for 11 to celebrate my birthday. It was really nice. We had the private room area with another party which was perfect.

The restaurant said they did not have our reservation and they didn’t use open table and we had to find somewhere else to eat

Honestly, the service was terrible! Not attentive, drinks sitting empty, table full of dishes, never checking in... brought us a dessert menu and just dropped it off - never said a word. Then about 10 minutes later brought us the bill, which was split. We did not ask for it to be which made it awkward to now be able to treat my friend. ugh! Food was fantastic!!!

Our server was Dominique. He was excellent in the beginning. Then he disappeared. He came back about 30 minutes later and said it was an emergency and he was no longer our server. We sat for a while longer and literally had to search for a server and ask for our check. I’ve been here a few times and never experienced this kind of service. We were leaving and looked outside to see all the servers sitting outback smoking. Just awful.

I have visited this location a few times, this was probably my 3rd or 4th visit and may very well be my last. I went for a bday outing (3 of us) and 2 incidents occurred that really upset me. The first being a hostess, coming over to tell me that they had a large party who had a reservation & she needed 'our' table. I also dined here with a 'reservation' & we were waiting on our dessert. My family was so taken aback by this, we spoke to the manager who was apologetic & told me to take our time. Then once we finished the desert, my brother & son split the bill and inserted the cash into the pad. Told him "tip included -no change needed." The server returned as we were standing up to leave & told us, "you only gave me $90. The bill was $135". We were like what! My son looked in his wallet (2nd guessing himself) and I actually saw them put the $$ in the pad. I looked down at the servers apron, I said, "isn't that the rest in your apron? He looked down & said, "oh my bad, so sorry!" My heart was racing! I couldn't believe he would even confront us with such an accusation! I've never experienced anything like that. How do you dispute when you gave them cash (unlike a credit card). It was a very bad experience, and I'll likely nerve go back again. Very unfortunate.

Food was excellent. Service Fair. Noise level was very distracting, as you could not have a conversation. Background music not helpful, as it was 2 different types of music at the same time. Need some sound absorbtion as people and general noise is acoustically not beneficial for a moderate priced restaurant, which otherwise has a very nice ambience. Fix this and we'll be anxious to return.
