Welcome to Parklands Tavern, a family friendly pub located in Meridan Plains on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We are locally owned and operated by Sunshine Coast Hotels Pty Ltd.

Parklands Tavern was established as a garden oasis, a relaxed and inviting environment that reflects typical Australian hospitality and ease.

The Yard, our outdoor space offers vintage brick paving, a vintage tractor, arbour and established gardens. Sit at the barrels and enjoy a cold beverage during the day or join us at night under the naked bulb lights.

The kitchen team uses only the freshest and best quality ingredients with locally sourced produce with daily visits to our own vegetable garden beds and citrus grove to offer a well-balanced, delicious Australian pub bistro menu with plenty of variety for all tastes.

Pleasant surroundings with a good range of meals, unfortunately the service was very variable, and not what we have had in the past here.

I got a steak, with chips and Salad, now a salad should consist of more than lettuce and a couple of bits of cucumber!! cost me $38 so a bit disappointing, the steak and chips were good. it doesn't cost a lot to put a couple of cherry tomatoes in a salad.. We had the same problem back in May with my husbands steak, he asked to get some more salad added ,so they put on some of the coleslaw mix, I was just hoping it might have changed. Please improve the salad, its embarrassing, wouldn't take overseas visitors here for this reason. the prawns didn't have much taste at all either. Lovely spot and good staff.

Lovely venue and great staff. Very helpful and friendly. I met 3 friends for lunch and we all enjoyed our meals. Two had seniors, fish and chips, and one had the California salad and chips, I had the Ceaser salad with chicken. My meal was a very large serve and although very tasty had too much dressing and I just couldn't eat it all. Next time, I would ask for less, but I am on a diet, I'm sure most people would love it. The chicken was cooked beautifully. Overall, we had a lovely time and would definitely return for another lunch date.

Eating my meal and it had glad wrap in it. Not impressed. No refund just a free drink.

Food was excellent, nine of us really enjoyed our meals. The food was served close together and the service was great. Hadn’t been for quite a while but will be back soon.

Requested a table in quieter area due to son with sensory issues and they were very accommodating. Several celiacs in the group that were catered fir with GFO on the menu. One guest needed a custom meal due to recovering from oral surgery. Very accomodating to all our dietary needs and the atmosphere and the presentation was lovely. Staff were lovely and the service was great. They even brought out our cakes and supplied candles. The only constructive feedback I can offer and where I marked lower was food as the medium to well steaks were too rare in the middle to be eaten by 4 of our guests (they enjoyed the outer parts though) and one commented her parmigiana wasn’t the best. The menu does offer a wide range of options to suit all tastes but just a few things that could be tweaked so it gets top marks for everything.

Always look forward to visiting the Parklands Tavern. The staff are so friendly and the service is excellent. To us its our local away from home
