It was hard to get a short notice booking so we accepted an8:45 slot. Turned up earlier for pre meal drink and asked if we could get an earlier slot-yes! Very accommodating

Central location, good menu, but despite asking, tried to oversell branded mineral water rather than house own, and we had to chase up the food despite a quiet restaurant and only chicken ceaser salad ordered!

The two waiters who looked after us, Harry and Pavidia (?) - both originally from Kerala, were excellent being very professional and friendly without in any way being intrusive. The food and wine were also excellent. There were very few other diners when we were there so the very large dining room felt a bit empty. However, that did not in any significant detract from what was a thoroughly enjoyable gastronomic experience.

I always enjoy eating at Parker's Tavern. The staff are so friendly, helpful and professional. This time I chose the set lunch menu and the food was delicious. I particularly liked the efficiency of the service and that the food was served piping hot rather than lukewarm. The choice on the a la carte menu is also very good. This is a great place for either lunch or dinner and the library is lovely for afternoon tea. It is a great favourite of my whole family.

A great place with a buzzy vibe. But out of a list of 15 or so gins it turned out they only had three. Then we were told our drinks would take a while as the bar was very busy. So aperitifs took ages to come and then they wanted to serve our food with these despite having been asked to hold the food while we had our (very delayed) drinks. Our waiter Bilal was charming and did his best to make things work - clearly not his fault if the bar is understaffed and the kitchen doesn’t hold food orders when asked! In the end we had a really nice meal, with good cocktails, then a decent burger, delicious salad and excellent wine. It just took a bit of work to get there!

The food was excellent and the service cheerful and friendly without being overly solicitous. It is on the expensive side (we paid about £50 perhead, and we had no alcohol)

Lovely meal. I had seafood as my starter and my main, and both were very tasty and imaginatively presented. My dessert was ok. It was the peach tart, and I love peaches, but this, while very attractive, was a little bland. My server was initially a little impersonal, she warmed up by the end of the meal. Attractive room, not too noisy. All in all, a great meal! Thanks.

A perfect birthday lunch. Our prior request for a table by the window was fully met. Extremely, but quietly, attentive waiter and waitress, who helped choose the champagne and dessert, which was served with ice cream on the house as a birthday gesture. Table cleaned between courses - details count. Altogether a high class experience and we shall certainly return. Thank you Parker's Tavern!

Dined solo at Parkers - the room was buzzy and fun. My schnitzel was thicker than I would like and a bit tough, but the mash I ordered on the side was silky and delicious. Service was haphazard but good natured.
