I usually love the food at Parker’s Tavern and whilst it Was okay, it was not up to its usual standard Which was very disappointing. However, the service was excellent as usual and the evening very pleasant. Although I do wish that they would return to using the previous glasses, they had used for cocktails as the ones we had felt like Sherry glasses. Hopefully the food will return to its usual standard as this is one of my favourite restaurants.

Good food and beautiful place. The schnitzel is not really a schnitzel, they need to make it flatter to call it a schnitzel. Rest was good.

One of the best sirloin steaks I’ve ever had cooked to perfection medium rare. Chips were too greasy which was a pity. Service was exemplary attentive but not intrusive. Environment was casual yet elegant and made for a very enjoyable evening. Breakfast by the way was equally good. All staff friendly and pleasant except the young barman who seemed a little aloof and inattentive- maybe he’s new. Will definitely revisit.

Service was quite slow (we waited half an hour for drinks and another half an hour for food) but very friendly and the food was delicious. They gave my friend a complimentary ice cream serving for his birthday. Feels very fancy and charming.

This is a great venue to catch up with dear friends. The food choice and the food itself is exceptional. The best aspects of this venue is the ambience and the excellent service. If you wish to have a good meal at a reasonable price in a great and historical part of Cambridge this venue is a must for you.

We did an evening of Cambridge Gin Dinner. The food was exquisitely paired with gins from the The Cambridge Gin Distillery. Our chef came to the table to describe each course and we had the privilege of meeting Will the owner of The Cambridge Gin Distillery. He was enthusiastic and his passion for the gin was palpable

Food was perfect loved having more gravy I just needed more cauliflower cheese … u Yorkshires were amazing as was the roast potatoes and the beef was a perfect pink
