Établissement à la gestion familiale depuis plus de 37 ans, le restaurant Le Paris Grill sert fièrement une cuisine française et du vin classiques à des générations de clients depuis 1978. Le restaurant en est maintenant à sa troisième incarnation sur Crutched Friars, le EC3 ayant auparavant été à sa place et avant cela, le London Wall. De nombreux clients se souviendront de la collection de cravates, parfois coupées du cou de leurs propriétaires, et qui sont encore exposées sur les murs. Il faut un homme courageux pour porter une cravate voyante ici le jour de son anniversaire !! Une collection de menus des années 70, 80 et 90 est affichée dans le hall d'entrée. Vous remarquerez tout particulièrement que dans les premiers jours, les sardines grillées coûtaient 0,85 £ et que le plat de rumsteak et de frites valait 2,90 £ ! L'établissement est fier de suivre la plupart des traditions du Paris Grill, telles que la préparation du steak tartare à côté de votre table. Vous pourrez choisir parmi une grande sélection de fromages présents dans le chariot. Le menu est d'un bon rapport qualité/prix avec des portions convenables « à l'ancienne ».

Steak Sandwich was superb and friendly Manager and staff. Wine was reasonably priced and great Peroni on draft

Rude waiter who served us, and difficult to get other waiter’s attention when we needed to get the bill. 20 mins for first drink to arrive

This is the "go to". When I have clients I come here with them for a glass of red and the best sandwiches in London. I spoke to a chef there recently who said he reckoned they do 200,000 a year. No surprise. Its the best thing they do. The staff are fab and the wine list is superb. Go.

Ideal venue for one hour business lunch. The steak sandwich and fries are legendary. Well worth a visit. There is a full menu which I can recommend and a decent wine list if you want to have a more leisurely lunch.
