Great experience from the moment we came in, out table wasn’t ready yet but we were invited to wait by the kitchen with a glass of sparkly. The drinks were delicious and so was the food, we had the escargot & bone marrow to start, which was delicious! Followed by our entre of Canadian prime strip loin with the sides of Brussels and Mac & cheese. The sides were great for two people and so was the strip loin. Samantha was our server and informed us of everything in our plates and made great recommendations. We will be back!

We were rushed out after spending $800! We were told there was no one reserved after us and to take our time and then a server came to the table as we were eating our dessert and asked us to move to the bar. Apparently walk ins came in. It was disappointing considering we go out often and it’s part of my job (online) to share, recommend and review restaurants.

I had an amazing experience at papis, this was my second time there and will continue to go back. Special shout out to Chef Jesse, loved all his recommendations. The service and food were outstanding. Would definitely recommend!

A great entry through the cooler door into a very cozy ambiance with nicely done dark wood accents and chandeliers. We were well serviced by Sara(h) who was pleasant and attentive. The manager checked in regularly and was equally attentive. The complimentary starter was a nice way to kick-off. We were there for a birthday and the personalized Happy Birthday menunis a nice personal touch. We had family style T-bone which was tender and cooked to perfection. All accompaniments were flavourful and ample for a couple. The wine selection is good but some were not available. We are people who travel a fair bit and enjoy fine dining (Michelin, etc) wherever we go, and this ranks high on our list, and is a gem for London. Price is consistent with what you would expect in a high-end steak house. My only small complaint is the background music is a bit louder than I would like but helps cover people's conversations but also makes it hard to hear sometimes. We'll be back.

One of the finest steakhouses that I have ever visited in the world and in my 45 years of travel in business, I have been to a lot. Everything about this place from the time you observe the selection of meats at the butcher counter to the surprise of walking through Papi’s ‘front door’ to the restaurant, made it an awesome experience. Samantha was our outstanding server and she was on top of everything from the moment we sat down. Yes it is expensive, but truly worth every cent. A memorable experience.
