    Solid small plates before an evening downtown. Had the spring rolls, PAO PAO Shrimp, dumplings, and a few beverages. Highly recommend

    Meal was good. Drinks good but overpriced. Our waitress was really nice.

    Recently visited for a birthday celebration dinner. PAO definitely has great ambience . Dimly lit with nice decor. There was a lot of Motown music being played which I can appreciate. The drinks there were really great, not to mention aesthetically pleasing . I tried the wagyu tacos and the meat was tender. Tacos were ok. My mother did mention they were a bit salty . My friends tried the veggie fried rice and shrimp appetiser which they gave good reviews on. Our waiter did a good job serving a party of 12. Over the phone someone mentioned if I wanted to bring a cake where the restaurant would serve it with candles it would be a $25 charge . After arriving and speaking with our waitress she stated she could bring out the cake, with sparklers and plate it with no charge. My favorite part of dining was the waitress and staff bringing out the cake. They even played a birthday song ( One time for the birthday *****) as they walked out! The restaurant does charge gratuity and would like one bill for large parties. Our waitress did accommodate splitting 3 forms of payment . Overall I did like the experience at PAO and really enjoyed the drinks. I will be back again to try more food/drinks and sit at their upstairs. They also have DJ.

    The food was really not up to par. The lo mein had pesto in it and tasted more like an Italian dish than an Asian one. The crispy rice with yellowtail tuna resembled a risotto ball rather than a sushi dish. The lamb chops had more fat than edible meat.

    The food is excellent but perhaps a bit pricey. The atmosphere is hip and young. Service is excellent. There is a service fee included with the check.
