                    Means seasoned bread and was born as a poor dish in the traditional Sicilian cuisine. In the past, it was made with cheap seasonings. Now it represents a delicacy and is prepared using even sophisticated ingredients. For our dough, we only use stoneground Sicilian flours made of ancient grains, Timilia & Russello

                                                                                                          The calamari starter was excellent the main pasta dish was well cooked. The service was fine. The price of the wine was extremely overpriced. The cheapest bottle which was a bulk standard type you could buy in a supermarket for less than £8 was £32.50.

                                                                                                          Wanted to go to an independent restaurant to avoid the chains, so gave this lovely, quirky place a try. The food was tasty and the service was quick and friendly, but the portions were tiny for the cost. I never have 3 courses, but after starter and main, we were all still hungry, so ended up having dessert, which i didn't really want. Disappointing.

                                                                                                          I was particularly pleased when the chef checked with me some of the ingredients in the pasta dish I ordered. I value the communication between the waiting staff and the kitchen staff since I have a few food intollerancies that would ruin a lovely evening with my friends at the theatre should the chef have not checked with me. I went there on Friday early evening before a theatre show, the service was quick, the food delicious, I will return. Thank you.

                                                                                                          We had a great meal here! The waiters were so friendly and attentive, and conscious that we had limited time due to the theatre so they made sure that the food was brought out really quickly. The food was divine, really recommend the Pane Cunzato dish, so nice to try a typical Sicilian dish. I am definitely going back!

Funny but got red wine poured on us twice and the staff all seemed very confused about everything we asked for. I wondered if we were on candid camera but we had fun and the food was nice

                                                                                                          The food was excellent and authentic and it was nice to be greeted in Italian when we arrived. The menu is interesting and diverse. Although the service itself was good, it was very annoying that we were being rushed to leave as soon as we finished our food and were still having our wine! Did ruin the nice dining experience!
