As a regular at Pampas for over a decade, dining there 34 times. I genuinely enjoy the food here and often recommend it, with the caveat that, since the pandemic, service quality can be inconsistent. Unfortunately, last night's experience left a lot to be desired. The food itself, as always, shined in many ways. The Porterhouse was outstanding—the best strip and filet we've had, with great sides, especially the basil fried corn. But a few items didn’t quite meet expectations. The Provoleta, usually served as a firm slice with thoughtful garnishes, arrived more like a cheese dip, overly oily and somewhat bland. The Mollejas were still flavorful but came in a smaller portion with chimichurri pre-applied and no lemon, a bit different from what we were used to. The main issue, however, was the service. From the start, it felt hurried and, at times, dismissive. We received an eye-roll when we asked for sparkling water instead of still, and the server was notably impatient while we looked over the wine list, coming back repeatedly for our drink orders before we’d had a chance to decide. Drinks took a while to arrive, and one cocktail was incorrect, which led to an awkward moment while the runner double-checked our request. The meat presentation, a highlight for many, was rushed. The server held the platter high and spoke so quickly that only someone familiar with the process could follow. When asked to lower the platter so we could see, his curt response was disappointing. Throughout the evening, there was a sense of being rushed at each stage, from the initial drink order to taking our meal choices, which the server asked for several times before we’d had a chance to look over the menu. When it came time for the check, the server disappeared for an extended period, leaving us to wait for about half an hour before anyone could take our payment. I hope this feedback is constructive for the management, as Pampas used to offer a consistently wonderful dining experience.

Unfortunately, service was off last night. Under staffed from what we were told. First time this has been the case and hopefully the last. We love dining at this groups restaurants.

It was a wonderful experience that I had with my mom for her birthday here. We enjoyed a four course meal, though we couldn’t really finish everything. Our stomachs were full by the second course haha. Gustavo and Shelly(forgot her name) did an amazing job. Thank you for making my moms birthday memorable.

Brought a friend here for the first time and Pampas team did not disappoint- the steaks the service- all impeccable. If you haven’t been - have them do the steak display and information - always worth it.

Only received a portion of our order. Check was adjusted to remove missing portion. When asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, we indicated that it was my wife’s birthday. Expected a complimentary card or slice of cake. They provided a portion of a cake and cut two small slices. The server indicated she would box the remaining cake for us. After several minutes, we had to ask for the remaining cake. Unbeknownst to us, we were charged $22.00 for the cake. That should have been made clear to us from the beginning.

Your check will show the cost of the cake, but then there will be a discount on the bottom. We are glad that our management clarified the situation. We have dined at Pampas every year for my husband’s birthday, and have always enjoyed the entire experience from the atmosphere to the food. However, this year was the exception. I ordered the scallops with mushroom risotto, and the dish was served with the scallops barely cooked. I sent back my meal back to the kitchen to have them cooked a little more. The scallops ended up being totally inedible, there was an overwhelming taste of an ammonia like flavor. The manager did end up comping my meal. My husband ordered his steak medium well and it came rare. He opted not to send it back because I had had issues with my dish. He had also ordered a side dish of mashed potatoes and they truly tasted as if they were instant mashed potatoes, watery and tasteless. Truly a disappointing evening. I would like to commend the waitstaff as the service was exemplary. In fact, the service was the most noteworthy part of the evening. Sadly, I doubt we will be dining here in the future. The high price point of the items on the menu do not align with the poor quality of the food.

My wife and myself celebrated our anniversary dinner at Pampas. The atmosphere was perfect and our servers, Stephen and Billy were very attentive but not too much. They actually suggested a new steak which we had not heard of and it was fantastic. Cold not have had a better night. All of the food was fantastic and cooked perfect to our selection. We'll be back!
