First time at Pampas and it was outstanding! I’ve never had a steak that was as good as this place. The ribeye just melts in your mouth. And the crepe dessert was amazing!

We have dined here many times before and tonight was a similar upscale experience. Wonderful and pleasant valet took care of our car, lovely greeters when we entered and quickly escorted us to our perfectly arranged table. Servers were lovely and very professional. We looked around and noticed the perfectly set tables were mostly empty all night. A Vodka martini and Prosecco got us started and were served quickly which we enjoyed with some delicious hot baked rolls and various delicious condiments. Next, a reasonable and delicious bottle of Zinfandel from Paso Robles was professionally served (minus the decanting). A delicious Cesar salad and an immense crab cake arrived next. Both were delicious and suddenly we were already getting full as the portions were generous. The main meal arrived soon after we finished with our starters. One center cut filet mignon and a boneless Ribeye Delmonico. The sides included fresh sautéed spinach and garlic (perfectly prepared), sautéed mushrooms (also perfectly prepared) and an impressively stacked large serving of Truffle Potato Au Gratin. A lot of food. All the food was delicious, but we could not even eat half of what we ordered so everything was boxed and taken home in a lovely Pampas bag. I had an issue with the ribeye but kept it too myself. It was not a traditional marbled ribeye but more like a brick of meat with little marbling. It was much leaner and denser than I expected and I found it a bit tough to cut, chew and swallow. I will give it a second thought tonight as I try it for leftovers. We were a bit surprised at the over cost for our meal when the bill was presented. We knew it was going to be extensive, but perhaps more expensive than a Buckhead steakhouse. It was bit insulting how my vodka martini was itemized: $15 vodka+$4 Martini+$2 for one stuffed olive. This was a bit excessive. When we arrived home we entered a food coma and we were both asleep for several hours post our meal.

The bartender on Wednesdays (please don’t fault me I can’t remember his name, and we always sit with him when we go in is phenomenal!!! Everything from his service to his sunny deposition just makes the experience. Hands down best bartender we have had the pleasure to sit with and experience! The food is obviously outstanding but as we all know the individual serving you makes all the difference. Go to Pampas and sit at the bar and have yourself an Amazing experience!

I have been here a few times over the years and this was the worst experience I've had here. Went there for a birthday. Overall the food was good however we had to send back one of the steaks because it was undercooked and was still undercooked when it came back. The service was awful. One of the waitresses that was working on our table consistently acted like we didn't exist while helped the tables on either side of us. We sat there for 20 mins finished eating and no one came by. The experience running the dinner.

Enjoyed taking my mother here for her 84th birthday. Excellent service and food. I didn't care for the fried provolone starter. It was served without any type of cracker to eat it just a dish of melted cheese.
