We had a lovely dinner at Palmer’s Grille. It’s a beautiful, intimate, lodge with a nice view. I had the Shrimp dinner. It was pretty good. The Au Gratin potatoes were excellent and the veggies were tasty. My 11-year-old said the chicken strips were “bussin” (that’s high praise). My 14-year-old had the Waygu burger and said it was delicious. He got a kick out of the tomato jam, which it turns out, was not just ketchup.

I ordered a steak, medium. It came to me like shoe leather. Totally unacceptable. I could have done better at home, but I was looking forward to my birthday celebration. It looked like the burger my spouse ordered was good, but this steak was so overcooked it looked like a 4 oz steak instead of an 8 oz size. The wonderful waitress did not charge us for the steak, and I was served another that was perfectly done, but the mood was ruined, a little. I don't let things like this get me down and thank goodness I don't need to choose this place again. We have many in the resort area to choose from. Take your chances, I guess.

We love the walleye!! Beautiful restaurant and great service. We’ve had the same waitress several times and she is great!

We ate outside on the patio and it was perfect service and ambiance. Worth every penny.

Great food—we love the walleye sandwich. The wait staff encouraged us to order quickly to beat the big golf group coming in. That was nice but made us feel a little rushed

We asked for our rolls with the salad, but were told they come with the entre, so we ate our salad by itself then got the rolls with meat and potato. I don't understabd what difference it makes.
