Located in Warren, RI, our American restaurant is a picturesque place to order lunch or dinner while enjoying the beauty of our town and the Palmer River. Palmer River Grille is part of the Gorman family of restaurants, which include the Sakonnet River Grille and Four Corners Grille in Tiverton, RI. Our family has been running these restaurants since 1998 and 2015, respectively. From the cooks to the wait staff, our entire crew is dedicated to providing the highest quality food and fast, friendly service. There's something on our dinner menu and lunch menu for everyone. We also have a full bar serving your favorite cocktails, mixed drinks, beer and wine.

We had been wanting to try this place for a couple of years but it was always packed when we drove by. We finally made reservations to take our son and daughter to dinner for their birthdays, one the 1st one the 3rd. The Palmer River Grille is outstanding, the service is attentive and the food was amazing. The atmosphere is welcoming and not noisy and distracting. We really enjoyed ourselves. If I could give 10 stars I would. The overall bill was very reasonable because the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely will be coming back.

As always food and service excellent!! My only complaint is I ordered a Bloody Mary and it came without any garnish—had to request olives. The drink itself was great though!

Our experience was very good. I’d like to thank whoever picked out our table as I did request on open table to not be in the center of the room as a member of our party is hearing impaired. They gave us a booth in the far back corner which was perfect! The member of our party could stay engaged and hear all the conversations. Waiter was very nice and attentive. Food was very good.

Had dinner here last night with my daughter...first time based on all of the terrific reviews. Wow, what a disappointment! The service was really quite good....well trained staff was very attentive and helpful. Then the food...not so good. We started with sharing an order of fried calamari in what was supposed to be mozambique sauce. The calamari was overcooked....resembling rubber bands and the sauce tasted like it came from a jar. Not a great start. I ordered the crabmeat stuffed flounder oscar. This was not very good at all....I could find no evidence of any crab in the stuffing which was little more than a gooey mush of bread and breadcrumbs. The stuffed fish was topped with what was anything but a chef prepared sauce and the worst part was the bits of previously frozen asparagus which was little pieces of mush. Vegetable of the day was squash, which was devoid of any seasoning and served in a small bowl with water at the bottom.....yuch! The highlight was the mashed sweet potatoes which were really quite good. My daughter had the scallops thermador, which was described as having a "light cream sauce" but in reality the few scallops were drowned in a pool of heavy sauce and again overcooked. All in all a very disappointing experience and I can not imagine how/why there were so many positive reviews. Are peoples expectations really that low? Needless to say, we won't be back and would certainly not recommend Palmer River Grill, especially with so many fine alternatives in the area.

Family style restaurant with decent comfort food at a decent price point. Our server Keegan was right on point without bringing overbearing. We had a little trouble with the wine list but was told they were updating so several bottles were no longer available. Decent place with a lager menu and several weekly specials. Definitely worth a try.
