Oh my goodness. Booked this on a whim, read a few reviews, all really good. So I did it. And am I glad I did. It was my Dad’s birthday and it ended up being one of the best. He has chicken liver parfait to start, followed by beef bourginon. Unreal. Beyond delicious. I had the tuna tartare & it was gorgeous. Followed by steak frites. It was soooo good. But the standout dish was his main. We’d usually go for dessert, but we genuinely had no room. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Do it.

Always have a great meal here. Took some friends who had never been before and they thought it was superb.

The food was delicious and very well presented. Service was excellent. We had a very warm welcome and birthday wishes were given with our greeting. Our waitress was attentive, kept our glasses topped up and cleared the table in good time. The desert was presented with a candle and a beautiful signed birthday card from the staff. It was a lovely touch. Highly recommended especially for a special event. The team go the extra mile - thank you to the team for making it such a lovely evening.

The Steak offer was great value, though the house wine wasn't great and quite pricey for the quality. Staff were all very friendly right from entering to the end - all so pleasant and welcoming. Good decor as well.

This was my 3rd visit and it was just as good as the very first time. Absolutely outstanding food, service ambience and value. Will definitely return

Food and service was very good. However the tables are packed in very close making it difficult to have a relaxing meal, especially if you have loud people next to you. For this reason it is doubtful we would return.
