Voté le meilleur restaurant de 2013 par les lecteurs du magazine SF Bay Guardian, le Palio est un des favoris des habitants du centre-ville à la recherche de l'endroit idéal pour conclure une affaire, des voyageurs qui apprécient les restaurants étoilés par le guide Michelin et de tous ceux qui cherchent une salle à manger où créer une fête privée exceptionnelle. C'est un lieu où les techniques traditionnelles se mélangent à une approche contemporaine. Ce restaurant catégorisé comme confortable par le Michelin est personnellement supervisé tous les jours par le propriétaire Martino Di Grande. Le menu du Palio qui comprend des sans gluten est un véritable voyage culinaire en Italie qui met l'accent sur la cuisine de différentes régions et qui changent au fil des saisons. Excellent and very attentive service. The salad with goat cheese was refreshing and the fried calamari was lightly battered yet flavored well. I will order both again the next time we go. The two different Italian pastas we had were a perfect portion and tasted among the best I’ve had.

Elegant and comfortable. Fine dining, yet something for everyone. On our Saturday night, most tables were celebrating something—somebody’s dessert came with a candle. Everything for our party of four was excellent: cioppino, eggplant parmesan, grilled branzino, and seafood & fettucini alfredo. Tirimisu and lemon sorbetto for dessert. Lovely montepulciano with dinner. So glad we came.

This is for the night of the Chinese New Year parade, so it was very quiet inside an Italian restaurant adjacent to Chinatown. The servers were very attentive. The food was delicious. The desserts looked fabulous, but we were too full. We enjoyed our drinks, thought the complimentary bread was tasty, and devoured our 2 entrees: steak with lobster ravioli and branzino. Would love a whole fish option, but still, delicious food in a nice, spacious room.

I booked a business dinner for a group of 12 people. Palio took reservations for larger parties online, they were flexible when I needed to increase headcount, everything was set up beautifully when we arrived, food and service was top notch!! Well done! I will definitely dine with them again and highly recommend Palio!
