This is my 3rd visit to the new location for Palette 22, my previous visits were for happy hour. My best friend was in town so I decided to take her here for dinner. We had a 7:30 reservation on Saturday night; upon arrival I was immediately seated in the front room along the windows (perfect for people watching). Our waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. none of cocktails seemed like they would satisfy my tastebuds most being described as sweet drinks, so I opted for a glass of Chianti and my friend ordered the frozen blackberry margarita. We wanted to do the passport option for both of us and also try the fried rice so we ordered away (so much that they had to bring a second table). We started with what they call a lamb dip it was served in a mini cast iron dish with shredded lamb served with fresh naan. This dish was extremely salty and nothing like a dip at all, not my favorite item. We also had the cabbage which is honestly just a wedge of cabbage that’s been grilled it lacked flavor and definitely not worth the price. The corn cakes were perfect and didn’t need the side of whipped butter (made them too sweet). The lamb and brisket kabob was perfection but the white sauce that’s used as a base lacked flavor. We also had the fried rice and honestly that’s all you need if you come here a very generous portion packed with flavor (although way to many sports) and chunks of meat throughout, I was so full otherwise I would have kept eating. The last item we tried were the prawns and those were very good packed with flavor and a sauce that added a nice little boost of flavor. As our food came out , seemingly all at once we did ask for them to slow it down because we didn’t have any space on our tiny table but we were ignored finally I asked for our waitress and that’s when we got the second table. While I didn’t love most of the things I tried during dinner, I did enjoy the atmosphere and convenience.

Just fantastic! This was my second time at Palette 22 and my guest’s first time. Every bite was incredibly delicious and the service and attention were perfect. Love the beautiful setting and comfortable atmosphere.

I’m sort of addicted to this restaurant. Food is excellent and CONSISTENT! Servers are nice.l, Outdoor seating is lovely, upstairs indoor seating is great (loud downstairs). Winning dishes (though I like almost everything): branzino, cabbage, ceviche, potatoes, hummus, and the Banh Me Benedict! A wonderful addition to the union market district I hope they stay consistent!

We celebrated a friend’s birthday here, and the food was food and drinks were so good! The pita bread that’s served with the dips is ADDICTIVE; the Fresh25 (non-alcoholic) and Blackberry (alcoholic) drinks were delicious, but they ran out of the blackberry drink, so we couldn’t do another round. Service was good.

This was my first experience going to this restaurant for brunch and how do you say the service was unbelievably slow and they forgot to bring three of my plates. I'm glad we didn't do the bottomless option because I don't think we would've got our moneys worth.
