I’m sort of addicted to this restaurant. Food is excellent and CONSISTENT! Servers are nice.l, Outdoor seating is lovely, upstairs indoor seating is great (loud downstairs). Winning dishes (though I like almost everything): branzino, cabbage, ceviche, potatoes, hummus, and the Banh Me Benedict! A wonderful addition to the union market district I hope they stay consistent!

We celebrated a friend’s birthday here, and the food was food and drinks were so good! The pita bread that’s served with the dips is ADDICTIVE; the Fresh25 (non-alcoholic) and Blackberry (alcoholic) drinks were delicious, but they ran out of the blackberry drink, so we couldn’t do another round. Service was good.

This was my first experience going to this restaurant for brunch and how do you say the service was unbelievably slow and they forgot to bring three of my plates. I'm glad we didn't do the bottomless option because I don't think we would've got our moneys worth.

We had a terrible experience. Disappointing as Ive always had a great experience at the shirlington location - though admittedly, not for brunch. The food was "ok", but not well portioned for the prices - particularly brunch. The dishes come out "as they're ready" - which is fine - but odd that that's the claim when much of the food was already cold when it reached our table. Our server was extremely inattentive - it took 15 minutes to receive our first round of drinks. Mimosas. Not craft cocktails. Mimosas. And those mimosas were entirely juice. When we asked for that to be corrected - it took another 10 minutes to receive the new drinks. We watched as other servers quickly and efficiently interfaced with the bar - and shuttled complicated cocktails, and sangrias to the rest of the restaurant - while our server stood in the corner and stared into space. Ultimately, we went to the bar ourselves to ask for the mimosas. All told - despite agreeing to the bottomless brunch, we were only served one mimosa in the hour and 15 minutes we were there. Unacceptable. It also took us 15 minutes to get our server's attention to ask for the check, and we asked that the bottomless be removed from the bill, and that we be charged for a single mimosa each. Rather than bringing the check he brought us the second round of mimosas. We then watched as he charged the entirety of the meal on one card (I received the update from my bank) rather than splitting the check - and we watched as he had to involve his manager to correct the charge. They ultimately removed one bottomless charge - which is at least reasonable. Sensing we were upset - he spoke to his manager - who approached our table to apologize "if anything had taken a little longer than usual". Infuriating.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. Service is amazing, very clean they were constantly wiping things down. The food was delicious and flavorful.

I had a tough day today, but the entire team made me feel so welcomed and made my solo dining experience a wonderful one. I would highly recommend Palette 22 for solo diners!

Our waiter was no where to be found which is sad bc most of the reviews raved about the service. I also asked for an ice tea and he charged me $11 for a non spiked infused cocktail. He could have easily made it clear that was going to be how it was charged and I would have adjusted my order. I won’t be back because overall although the food was good the overall experience was very lacking. The place is really cute. I hope they get it together.
