Ate outside and had the lunch taco special. Nice sized portions and very good. We had the chicken, shrimp, salmon tacos. Appreciated the substitutions on shrimp taco. My friend had a side of gazpacho and I had the chicken tortilla soup. Delicious. Waitress was great about serving up iced tea with extra lemons. Could tell it was freshly made.

First time visitors, when I read about the make your own guac I wanted to try. A little disappointed at how much the add ins were, but the guac was good. The calamari wasn't great, it was almost like a tempura. Way too much on it. Our meals were excellent. The ropa vieja was delicious and enough to feed me at least one more time, maybe twice! Service started off strong but as it got busier it was harder to find our server. Overall a solid first visit and I would definitely go back!

I really wanted to give this restaurant a higher rating. However, our waitress wasn’t the nicest person. For the record, we don’t expect everyone to have a bubbly, over the top personality, but we do expect to be treated kind and with respect. She was full of smart remarks, short answers and sarcasm. Initially, we were understanding. Work can be exhausting, maybe she was tired… but at some point you must learn to still treat others with kindness. On top of that, it was our first time visiting the restaurant. She didn’t do the best job at making our family of four feel welcomed. The manager made his rounds from table to table and stopped by ours. He was nice, but it almost felt like he was making up for the lack of good quality customer service we should have been receiving from our waitress. She also disappeared for long periods of time. We needed things and could not find her. By the end of our visit, she and the manager had a conversation (not too far from our table). She then came back repeating the friendly conversation we had with him. It was strange because she never took the time to treat us nice or have any kind of conversation until it was time to pay. That didn’t feel good at all. May I add, the food was ok, the ambience was nice, but we didn’t necessarily get to experience it; for we were placed by the bathroom with constant traffic and no clear view of the restaurant. I’d love to give Paladar another try. Maybe it was just an off night. We all have those, I guess.

Another excellent meal at Paladar. Drinks were excellent, and the bread pudding dessert was amazing.

Food, as always was insanely good. I got the egg white avocado wrap, and my wife got the grilled pineapple chicken sandwich. Plus a side of plantains. And the Guatemala coffee was outstanding.

Food was mediocre. Appetizer was decent. I had the guacamole and it was okay. I also got the corn soup I had to send it back it had a very off taste. And then I got the chicken tortilla soup which was very decent and for my entrée I got the fried red snapper and let me tell you I love fish, but I hated that fish. For a Latin restaurant that dont know how to season their food to me is pathetic. Fish was bland. It was like they just took it and dump it into deep fryer. That’s it no seasoning no salt. I had to send that one back too and at that point I was over the restaurant, I just wanted the check
