    Overall, The experience at Palace Café was not how I remember it – it was disappointing. It started with a text that informed us our table was ready early on our short walk over from the Omni. When we arrived, our table wasn't ready. After about 8 minutes, we were seated. Once seated, we waited for 10 minutes for any staff member to acknowledge us. Once the waiter arrived, we ordered two glasses of wine. We waited for our drinks for about 20 minutes and had to remind the waiter that we did so. This was with a front-of-house that had about half a dozen open tables. Food was OK; nothing to write home about. The restaurant itself is beautiful and in a great location at the edge of the Quarter and in the heart of the CBD.

    I made a reservation but had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. The waiter raised his voice at me when I asked him to take the banana foster (that we never got) off of the bill.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! We loved the three piece band playing New Orleans music! It made a very special experience even better! Service and food were both great! We would highly recommend the rum cake dessert.

    The Palace Cafe was over the top in service and the food was outstanding. I will most differently be coming back to this restaurant.

    Excellent service. Crabmeat cheesecake is delectable! Band was great. Tableside Banana Foster is always a treat!

    everything was lovely and the food delicious, but the music was a bit too loud for my group. Had a couple of older people with me and it was hard to converse. other than that, it was lovely

    Steak Frites and Gumbo Ya-Ya were excellent. Our server, Kyng, was attentive but not intrusive. Jazz trio was outstanding!

    Great NOLA atmosphere! Our server seemed to have too many tables to cover, which really made the service very slow for getting drinks refilled and our food out timely. The dishes were served warm and not hot. All of our entrees had wonderful flavors but for the price we found the portions on the small side. We’ve been to Palace in the past and found the brunch and lunch menus to be a better value. This is a beautiful restaurant and the window seats provide an excellent view of canal street.
