In 2017, Chef Kevin J. Lee opened highly-anticipated and award winning PAI Honolulu after a four-year search for a restaurant space to offer guests a warm and welcoming experience. His cuisine highlights flavors and ingredients from Hawaii and brings it together with global techniques to present a fun and unique experience. His passion for his craft is evident in his commitment to curate as many of the ingredients that he uses in his menus in-house which has won the restaurant many awards including Hawaii's Best Restaurant, Best Chef's Tasting Menu, and more.

    The staff truly made our visit a night to remember. Both the front and back of the house were on their A game. We will be back again!

    Small, intimate setting that puts the incredible food on full display. Braised Beef was the star of the show, will the lemongrass curry pasta on its heels. Amazing value in the 3 and 4 course options. Absolutely recommend and will dine there again!

    The entire experience was terrific: parking not too difficult; cuisine wonderful and portions perfect. Service impeccable and friendly. not rushed. We are an old married couple, it was a very romantic experience. And MUCH cheaper than we had expected!

    Absolutely incredible dining experience at Pai Honolulu! This is easily one of the top restaurants on O'ahu for anyone seeking a true gastronomic adventure. A 10/10, phenomenal experience. I highly recommend it for special celebrations or a romantic date night.

    Enjoyed dining at Pai. I can’t believe such a wonderful restaurant exists here and it’s taken me this long to find it! Location is at Harbor Court. Parking is in the building. It’s a clean safe quiet place downtown. The restaurant itself is open modern and clean. I felt very comfortable there. The only thing I would prefer is less bright light. Service friendly and excellent. The food superb. We couldn’t get how such an amazingly talented chef was here making such exquisite dishes for us. Wow! We loved everything we ordered and will return. They matched our pace, we didn’t feel rushed and was not kept waiting. Overall just an enjoyable experience. Thank you Pai!

    Staff are all very attentive and accommodating. Justine has very good wine pairings with the Chefs Tasting Menu. My husband's Duck Confit dish was his favorite. He wants to go back and have it again.

    Always an excellent dining experience at Pai. The food is creative and delicious. It’s fun to sit at the counter and watch the kitchen create their masterpieces. Looking forward to going back soon.

    This restaurant deserves Michelin stars! They have many local awards displayed and rightfully so. We had dinner at PAI HNL with some friends , it was delightful! The Chilled corn soup with crabmeat was oh so good! A large potion of crab and pickled grapes in the soup was a culinary delight! The braised beef was so soft and tender. It just melted in you mouth! The panna cotta finished the meal with a bang. Service was excellent! A must try for everyone, truly an amazing experience for the tastebuds!

    This is a restaurant that should not be missed! We did the 3-course tasting menu and everything was delicious. I wish I could have the five spice pork shoulder every night - if you like pork definitely order that. In addition to the amazing food, Justine made us feel welcome from the very moment that we walked in. You really feel like part of the family during your dining experience and it’s one of the best dining experiences that I have had all year.
