Mussels, sea bass and swordfish were outstanding. Outdoor venue delightful. Service competent but a bit slow. All in all a nice dinner

We both ordered insulata Pacifica on the sunset menu. The quality of the food was very good. The leek/mushroom soup was excellent. However, why does Pacifica have trouble finding ripe mangos? The mango strips in the salad were brittle. Further they raised the price of the sunset meals (what else is new?) and significantly reduced the size of the salad.

Had been to Pacifica a number of times before and, in our opinion, all facets have declined. Service was poor - it was one of our guests birthdays and I specifically told them server and host ahead of time it was a surprise. Server came up to table once everyone was there and immediately says oh, welcome to the specific guest and says I hear it’s your birthday. lol. Then proceeds to tell them the dessert they will get for their birthday. Ok -I guess mistakes happen. But then, server never came back to take food order. I mean, 15 mins later, no order! And it wasn’t THAT busy. Had to flag a manager down who took the order herself. Food came - portions were tiny!!! Much smaller than before. My Caesar salad first course looked like it was a half order split between people. Was shocking. And all of our entrees except for one guest who ordered pasta were teeny tiny. And the entrees were pricey. Truly was surprised given it was great the last few times I had eaten there. I’m not one to typically give poor reviews, but Pacifica needs to really figure things out. It has declined significantly and I would be hard pressed to return or recommend to others as I have on the past.

This is usually a good consistent restaurant but this time it was not good. Food was over cooked and service was annoying. People would come around constantly interrupting our conversation with friends and pushing us to be done with plates we were not done with.

Pacifica was exactly what we anticipated and so much more. The food was excellent, the service impeccable. Warm sourdough bread and butter came out first. My husband had the charbroiled oysters, then the seafood stew; I had roasted beet salad, then shrimp and pasta. The food was delivered hot and beautifully. Such big shrimp, wonderful broth. We will come back the next time we are in the area.

The host gave us a choice of seating. Although it was hot we chose to be outside because the view was so nice and they had misters keeping everything very comfortable. Our server was attentive and conversational. We ordered mocktails that were very delicious and refreshing. We ordered the scallops in shells appetizer. It was outstanding! Six succulent scallops prepared with spinach, bacon and Parmesan. We also ordered the small size Chilean sea bass entrees. It was prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. When I made the reservation on Open Table I told them we were celebrating our Anniversary. They acknowledged it several times and brought us a delicious complimentary dessert. We enjoyed Pacifica Seafood very much!

This was our first time dining at Pacifica Seafood. This restaurant has been recommended to us by several locals so we thought we would try it out! We really had a great dinner and our waitress was amazing! She really made our dining experience even better! Thank you Roxanne!

Great restaurant! Outside deck looking over El Paseo is perfect. Fish is top quality, and they serve half portions on some entrees. A+ place….
