    The food - tacos - was exceedingly delicious! The margaritas ditto! I’m not a fan of the loud noise level but clearly everyone was happy to be there.

    We enjoyed our tasty and inventive food, the energetic ambiance, and the environment generally. We found service just a bit slow, chaotic, and unpredictable. Everything just took longer than it should--and we had to flag down a staff member to take our food order as our waiter seemed busy at other tables.

    During our most recent visit, the food was excellent as always. However, the service, especially the reservation service through OpenTable was very poor. We made a reservation through OpenTable and then later changed the time to fit better with our theater tickets. Although we got confirmation messages from OpenTable that the change had been made, The restaurant did not make the change in their reservation schedule.  When we could not be seated at the new reserved time, the hostess offered no apology and said simply “do not depend on OpenTable, always call the restaurant if you need to change a reservation.“

    On multiple occasions, the server tried to get us to order more food. Not appreciated. Otherwise, it was a positive dining experience.

    This was a top notch restaurant and our server James made the night! Very knowledgeable about the menu and best choices for our tastes! We loved the bartender Jessie and her margaritas! Thanks for a great night in DC!

    Food was good overall. The tasting menu is worth the price, but would be better if you could choose from different categories. Service was fair, wait staff was not very attentive and didn’t clear the table or fill water glasses.

    The tasting menu was fun with the varied presentations and outstanding in tastes and freshness. We were seated in the back area which was much quieter than the front area. A great experience as I was trying to increase my grandson’s palate and it worked! He loved the octopus.

    Food was absolutely incredible. Best food after a week of eating in Washington. A local recommended it and I’m so grateful. The service was great as well. The server brought us hot salsa and was spicy and flavourful. The ceviche was fresh, light and delicious. We were so full and had two high end cocktails and our tab was only $121. We were so impressed with every detail of the experience. Definitely recommend making it part of your trip. We would have gone again had we had time. There was a guacamole and a ceviche bar. Decor was fun and unique.
