Oy Bar is a restaurant and bar that embraces simplicity and the joy of sharing food. Our menu highlights local suppliers and fresh produce, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy, especially with a glass or two of wine.

If you haven't tried oysters before, we invite you to do so with us. Our goal is to make oysters accessible for everyone—no expensive options or white tablecloths here! Oysters have been enjoyed by humans since the Neolithic period, making them one of our earliest foods, and we hope you will enjoy them too.

We have a passion for wine and have curated a wine list that is easy to understand, yet offers a diverse selection from around the world, all at three simple price points.

Everything was amazing!! Just wish the lighting was not so bright and gave more of a date night vibe.

Gorgeous to walk in … but no one there. Cocktual mixes… food pre done and honesty such a disappointment xxx oysters yummy bar that average but lovely staff

Second visit here, and still love the concept and food/wine choices, but they are clearly understaffed. It was a busy Friday night and just three people serving, cooking and waiting hence a few waits … the baked Camembert wasn’t quite hot or melted enough so we had to ask them to reheat but everything else was great.

A friendly welcome and excellent simple platters to share and good wine. Served promptly and with charm - an excellent place for a French style evening

Seafood was good, oysters great but poorly shucked. Oven baked Camembert wasn’t really hot enough or melted enough. Ambience is definitely bar rather than restaurant.

Lovely oysters, although not shucked well with lots of shell inside. No atmosphere at all. Not very good wine selection. Strangely no champagne by the glass, and only one overpriced mediocre option by the bottle.

We really enjoyed the food, everything we had was delicious and reasonably priced. Would have liked the option to have a glass of champagne or Crement by the glass, the only by the glass options were Prosecco. The one thing I really think isn’t right is the ambiance. It’s far too white and the lighting is really bright. I get they’re going for a Scandi vibe but I feel it really needs a bit of colour and some soft furnishings to help with acoustics. It felt a bit like an operating theatre!

I came to Oybar with my partner last weekend and the food was exceptional. Very well priced fresh seafood with great bread and other sides. However I was very disappointed when ordering a Guinness it came in a wine glass, and therefore was very unenjoyable and not the ideal start to the evening. I shortly followed the Guinness with a tap house white wine, which was very enjoyable.
