Cannot fault the food, which was delicious, well presented and great value for good dishes. The staff were lovely as well as efficient. The ambience was probably not as lively as I imagine it would be later in the evening but we were there for an early dinner. The only thing that would prevent us returning would be the shared toilet facilities, (with a few other venues in Headrow House) which were decidedly grim - more so than lots of public toilets. Were this restaurant in a different location with its own facilities, we would be very keen to return.

Excellent Sunday lunch could not fault it it was absolutely delicious. Staff great and attentive speedy service. The cauliflower cheese nom Dee nom. Will be telling everyone about this gem

The starters of beetroot, peach and chicken schmaltz were fantastic. The desserts of baked Alaska, and burnt Basque cheesecake were electric - brilliant. However, a few minor quibbles... 1) We received 3 Vanilla baked Alaskas, but only ordered 2 - one should have been Rhubarb. I was awkward, and asked for raspberries, rather than sour cherries, would 5 rather than 3 raspberries have ruined the break even point? The veg was excellent, the pomme Anna beautiful, the Yorkshire puddings fantastic, my beef was delicious. The Mother-in-law's beef wasn't half as good (she handed it over because she couldn't eat it, so I tasted both mine and hers) Service was good, not as good as Brasserie Blanc. Forde in Horsforth is still the best Sunday roast I've had in Leeds.

Absolutely lovely meal, we went for the cote du boeuf 1kg and picked the duck fat fries, harrisa cabbage and lettuce with caesar dressing as sides.The beef was cooked perfectly, medium rare. The yuzu cocktail was gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I only have one criticism and that was the raddish entree, which is literally just raw radishes with a salted butter in a separate small dish, so I wouldn't order that again. My friends loved the restaurant and said it was the nicest beef they'd had in a long time.

We came to ox club for a wedding anniversary meal. Went when it first opened so very quiet But we were happy with that. My Husband had chicken skins in oil and sourced and steak and fritters. I had roast peach burrata and fennel. My main meal was monkfish. It was absolutely beautiful. We had a complementary glass of fizz and a glass of red wine. Yes it's not cheap but we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and attentive
