We had a great early dinner! Our waiter was kind and attentive! The food portions were large and delicious! I got the salmon penne and it was amazing! I’d definitely come eat here again!

We love The Overlook Restaurant because the food is always amazing. We brought friends who had never been before, and they loved it too!

Rolls and tomato soup were great but entrees were very average. Service was great! Ambience is lacking. It’s your typical hotel restaurant

This place was worth every penny. They had a loud group of women but that’s not their fault! Going there every time we come back

Food was great, lots of seating options. The TV screens playing different channels kinda kills the vibe in the dining room.

Only Complaint is Utah laws not allowing you to carry a drink from bar to table. Weird laws. Also your required to order food with a drink? overly controlling laws

Thank you for your feedback! We understand that Utah's laws can feel a bit peculiar. The laws you mentioned are strictly for restaurants: The requirement to order food with a drink and the rule about not carrying drinks from the bar to the table are part of state regulations for restaurants. The good news is that in a bar, like our ‘On The Rocks’, those laws do not apply, and you can walk around and visit with friends with your beverage of choice. We, a family of 5, went to dinner on New Years night and one of the best meals and times! Our amazing server, Tarryn took such wonderful care of us! She greeted us warmly and with the most beautiful glitter eyeshadow! It was stunning and so fun for bringing in the New Year! Tarryn talked us through the menu, and was kind enough to ask the Chef for the vegetarian French Onion soup even though it wasn't on the dinner menu! I'm a vegetarian and it's hard to find a veggie based French onion soup at restaurants. Chef Ernesto did an amazing job! I would have licked the bowl if I was at home! Sooo good! My husband and son had the Pork Chops and equally praised the flavor, while my two girls kept it simple with pasta and chicken salad! The dessert was to die for! Do not miss out on the cookie skillet! By far, the best cookie skillet ever!! The cookie was perfectly balanced with butter, sweetness, and gooeyness! OMG!! so good! Thank you Tarryn for your fun banter and helping make our meal so memorable! Thank you Chef Ernesto for pleasing out tastebuds so memorably!!
