The Overlook features a seasonal internationally influenced full-service menu accompanied by premium spirits, wines and local brews, as well as a rotating selection of signature specialty entrées created by our Executive Chef Eric Jackson. We are located directly across from the Raleigh Convention Center, Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts and the Red Hat Amphitheater.

This restaurant is in a residence inn. We wish we would have known that before booking. It smelled of industrial cleaner, we were glad we had a patio table but then got bit by mosquitoes. We made it quick and got out of there.

An excellent place to eat before a show at the Martin Marietta Performing Arts Center. The hostess was very helpful with a question about surrounding locations. The servers were efficient and friendly. Would return in the future.

The food and service were very good. Table size for 2 on the inside was a little bit smaller than what we anticipated-…..Barely enough room for our entrees however overall dining experience was very nice. We definitely will dine at Overlook again!

This was a hidden gem for us. Inside a hotel in downtown Raleigh! The food was very good. The Salmon was delicious. I asked for it to be medium rare and it! My husband had the chicken sandwich and was amazed at how moist and fresh it was. Our waiter was Sage and he was very attentive and polite. Overall, a great meal and we hope to return.

My family and I had a wonderful experience here! Chef Jay (I hope I'm spelling it right) makes some delicious food. We had the burgers and fries and couldn't speak more highly of it. Everything was cooked perfectly, hot, fresh and served quickly. Our waitress was great too although I don't remember her name. I would highly recommend checking this place out!

We had a great experience at the Overlook for dinner. The food and service were wonderful. Chef Jay visited our table to ensure everything was as expected. Chef Jay’s food was enjoyed by everyone at the table.

Frankie was a phenomenal waitress!! She was extremely attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. She made great recommendations. Chef J’s food was AWESOME!! I had the shrimp appetizer and salad. The salad was so fresh.

My lamb chops were very good but my husband’s shrimp was overdone and cold. Our server Kyle was the best. I’m pretty sure he made our lovely cocktails. French martini and black Manhattan.

Service was lacking, we had a bigger group and took way longer than expected for drinks, appetizers and then main courses. We were even served after multiple tables were sat after us.
