The crown jewel of the hotel, our rooftop restaurant Overlea (meaning, “over the meadows”), is a stunning open concept space with horseshoe bar, floor to ceiling windows, and breathtaking views of historic Newmarket. The menu is a celebration of seasonal simplicity created by Chef Jon Turner. With terraces on each side complete with greenery, lounge furniture and fire tables, Overlea is the perfect place for a quiet escape into an evening of the unknown. We enjoyed our dinner very much at the overlea. The only thing i suggest is to have french fries on your menu. Being told they are only available in the lobby bar was extremely disappointing. The waiter said sometimes when children are there they will go downstairs and get them. Everyone likes french fries. Please put them on both menus. Such a small thing could make a big difference

I can't get enough of this place! The food is exceptional (flavors, presentation), the service is amazing and the atmosphere leaves me feeling transported - a city experience in a small town, my little escape! Everything is beautiful, such amazing quality and attention to detail. A wonderful experience every time.

Place was packed when we arrived. Sat at the bar for a bit until our table was ready. Drinks were creative and good. Fresh foccacia was brought to our table with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, Delicious. We had venison carpaccio & seafood plate for appies. Both were very tasty. We ordered the duck, Cornish hen, lamb the daily special - pork chop. Everyone loved their meals. The lemon meringue was not a pie, but served in a ramekin. Tart and so good! Our server was attentive and pleasant. Newmarket has a new gem. The outdoor patio will be packed on warmer days. Can’t wait to go back again.

A lovely new hot spot in Newmarket. Upscale menu. Feels like downtown TO vibes. Good energy and servers, albeit a little green. I am hopeful it will get there. Food was very good but HEAVY on the salt. Loved the onion rings and buttermilk Cornish hen and Brussels sprouts. Lillian was a delightful server❤️

Absolutely outstanding experience at Overlea in the Postmark Hotel! From the moment we walked in, the service was beyond phenomenal – attentive, warm, and truly made us feel special. The meal itself was unforgettable; each dish was impeccably crafted, showcasing an exquisite menu with flavors that were out of this world. The wine list perfectly complemented every course, adding that extra touch to a fantastic evening. Usually, it’s the service that makes or breaks a night out, and tonight, every single detail surpassed our expectations. This is a must-visit gem, and I can’t wait to return! Five stars, hands down.

I recently visited this new restaurant, and I was so impressed! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish had its own unique twist that made it stand out. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had a great experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a nice meal out. I’m excited to see this place grow and definitely plan to come back.

A beautiful restaurant with the best of intentions. Thinking it will grow into a fabulous higher end restaurant in time. The food was great but the lamb was dry and a bit tough. The steak was fabulous. The appetizer was delicious but served on a cool plate which made it cold very quickly. The noise level was too much for a higher end restaurant but I think that is more of a structural issue due to conversation around us. I had a hard time e hearing one of my companions though she is a soft speaker to be fair. We were in a bit early and I felt the service was too quick; more like one would expect at a family restaurant. To be fair to the waitress she was very friendly and did not yet have many tables to serve.
