The crown jewel of the hotel, our rooftop restaurant Overlea (meaning, “over the meadows”), is a stunning open concept space with horseshoe bar, floor to ceiling windows, and breathtaking views of historic Newmarket. The menu is a celebration of seasonal simplicity created by Chef Jon Turner. With terraces on each side complete with greenery, lounge furniture and fire tables, Overlea is the perfect place for a quiet escape into an evening of the unknown. Open evenings + weekends for brunch service.

The weather was great, we sat outside and enjoyed the rooftop view. Thankful to Julia who explained the dishes to us, answered all our questions and took a really good care of us. Very professional and friendly. Alexcia was very nice and attentive. We came to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and I am happy that we chose this place, it was lovely.

We booked a reservation for our wedding anniversary weeks in advance, with reminders coming from Open Table all the way up to the day of our reservation. But when we showed up, we were turned away and told that there was a wedding and that we should have received a message that our booking was cancelled (we didn’t get anything from them via email, text, or call). When we asked if we could be seated at their restaurant down below, the hostess told us there was only a spot on a couch available. No apology. No invitation to come back on them. Nothing. Just sent on our way. I know it’s a new place, but it was extremely unprofessional for what is supposed to be a high-end restaurant.

It was our post wedding dinner at a brand new to us restaurant and it did not disappoint. The room is spectacular, the menu varied and the staff professional and courteous. The entire party was delighted with our dinner. The food and wine menu surpassed our expectations. It’s delightful to have this establishment in our area.

Overall we both loved it. Great ambiance. Well designed space with terrace and accordion walls. Food was excellent. For the appetizers, we had the peaches and ricotta and the beet salad. Both were plentiful and filling and tasty. For entrées, we had the cappelletti and duck. Again, both were very tasty. I prefer my pasta less al dente, so that dish may not appeal to everyone. We also had both of their desserts which we loved. Maybe they can expand upon their dessert list. Cocktails and beer were good as well, but again, maybe they can offer more signature cocktails. The service was amazing. The waitress we had was extremely attentive. Would highly recommend. We will be back.

Lily was our server and she was amazing. The food the atmosphere....we were impressed. This is exactly what newmarket needed!!

This was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The food was outstanding, the service incredible. I can't wait to return for more. The design choices and attention to detail are spectacular. Bravo to all involved, thank you for a wonderful experience.

We had a lovely evening in this beautiful rooftop restaurant. The food was great, the portions are large, the service was terrific. We will go back again, and are looking forward to trying "The Lobby" restaurant, which is also located in the new Postmark Hotel on Man St Newmarket.

Disappointing! The food and the service were sub-standard! Presented as an upscale restaurant but falls short. The planning and the detail that has gone into design of The Postmark should replicate with the service and menu!

Loved everything about this restaurant. From the friendly staff, to the impeccable food and the cozy yet sophisticated and modern setting. The fried chicken is by far the best we have ever tasted and the duck breast was succulent and just the right portion. My only critique is the price of the wines which are more expensive than many downtown . Overall a very positive experience and we will definitely be back!
