We are a contemporary, casual dining steakhouse restaurant beloved worldwide. Currently with 6 restaurants in NSW and 2 in Queensland, we are located on the Penrith Panthers complex. We pride ourselves on serving up variety: our unbeatable steak cuts are complemented by delicious choices of chicken, ribs, seafood and pasta at a price for everyone.

Our strategy? We're the leader of the pack by emphasizing consistently high quality delicious food delivered in a warm, welcoming environment.

    Staff had to be reminded to bring our drinks (water, wine). They brought the share steaks to out table without the sides - result steak was cold / part congealed by the time sides arrived (which only happened after we asked about them); no plate provided to decant share steak (again, we had to ask); they had to be asked to replenish the empty napkin holder; the sides on plate were cold, indicating sat too long on pass. Waitperson appeared overwhelmed. Meat was good quality and cooked properly however sitting for too long spoilt it. We should not have to remind staff to bring napkins, drinks, sides, crockery etc. Not good enough and ruined a very expensive meal. We were offered a free dessert in compensation but didn't want any more food. An offer of a discount would have been more appropriate. Would not go back to Outback Steak House.

    Food great as always however the last few visits service has been lacking, can't find a server they all make an effort not to make eye contact, food items missing and just yeah not great

    8:00pm booking however didn’t get seated until 8:15pm. Table we were directed to sit at was dirty with food on the seats and under the table (the waitress did clean that up only on our request). A waiter then came to order our meals straight away which was good, however we didn’t receive our food (entree and mains) and drinks until just prior to 9:00pm. The food was good, however the overall service experience was woeful.

    Everything was great as usual. Good place for a family meal just don’t order too many salads as a side because there won’t be any room left at your small table for your steak plates

    First time at Outback, hubby's choice for birthday dinner. Great menu, great food, great atmosphere. Will definitely bring the kids next time.

    Greeting was not really a greeting, he pointed to my table, followed me over. Said to scan the we code or someone would be walking around (I knew what he meant but he was vague as)about 10 minutes later a friendly young lady took my order, all good. My side salad came out, which I ate, still no drink. Then my main came out, missing the chips, then my drink, then the rest of the meal. The poor guy seated up from me left about 15 minutes after being seated and it took the staff at least 10 minutes to realise he had left. The place was maybe 1/2 full…..used to be 1 of my favourite places to eat.

    Good food, not fast food, reasonable prices. Shared a starter and a pudding because portions are large. Had a great evening.

    The waitress did not look up from her ipad when greeting us and subsequently called my 15 year old daughter a boy - we laughed about it - but if she had of looked up at least once she would of known. My daughter and i shared a meal and i asked for a separate plate which never came - i asked both the waitress and the person who delivered the food. A plate was never delivered. My son asked for an iced water twice. It never came. The waitress said she was bringing side plates for our shared entrees, they never came. It was very hot inside and we could not wait to leave because of this. The food was large portion sizes and i do feel that was value for money.

    We used to visit outback steak house quite a fair bit many years ago, what when it changed management from a lady named Jo and a man named Mike this place has gone down hill, so we stopped going. My daughter requested to go as we don’t go anymore & I understand why we stopped going & I won’t be returning anytime soon. It took over 10 minutes to be greeted & seated before anyone came to the front service desk. It was 35 degrees today, still no working aircon which in the few years we haven’t been I thought there would be aircon, there was 1 big fan pointed at the floor and we were seated right next to an open door for the outside patio, so the heat was beyond ridiculous, no one was really around so probably could of sat anywhere. I arrived at 5:15pm, we didn’t get any food until I had to ask a busboy to see where our meals were (literally only ordered an entree & 1 kids meal) with hardly anyone there, we didn’t eat until 6:30pm & had to leave with a take away box because the heat inside was unbearable (myself & few others insides were all using napkins as fans to cool off), no one came with drinks, service wasn’t anywhere like it used to be, food was average nothing to rave about especially for the price. Overall highly over rated & very disappointed, won’t be returning anytime soon.

    We ordered our meals salad was dry I had to wave someone down to get me some dressing as we were shoved up the back where no one would come see us , I asked for a take away box waited 15 mins f9r it and had to get up and go to feont desk to ask yet again . $350 for 4 adults and 1 child to eat was very rich I have been to nicer venues with great service for cheaper . I have been going to outback for over 10 years and sadly I think I'll gove it a miss from now on
