Otherside Wine Bar is here to bring authenticity and soul to the community in Glen Cove and beyond. We focus on natural wines that express the places where they grow and the people who grow them. Our menu is rooted in Mediterranean cooking with an emphasis on local ingredients, featuring finely-tuned small plates meant for sharing.

Located in the historic JH Coles Homestead, our dining room dates back to 1810—a perfect place to gather and celebrate our community over a meal.

This is an absolute gem! It is consistently fantastic. The food is so delicious, clean, well prepared, thoughtful and gorgeous. The wine selection is stellar. The staff is inviting, welcoming and make you feel part of their family. We have gone 5 times and every time is better than the last. This is truly a special place like no other on the Gold Coast. Please do yourself the favor and treat yourself to such a wonderful place. The menu changes almost weekly, it may not be extensive, but there is something for everyone and everything is incredibly fresh, well prepared and plated so beautifully. It is such high end food and preparation with no pretension. It’s a place not to be missed.

Our first time dining at Otherside and it was a fantastic experience. From the wine (Floral Terranes) to the food all excellent. Our wait staff were attentive and very friendly. Very nice ambiance very cozy. We will be going back.

Excellent , quiet spot. The wine selection was wonderful and reasonably priced. The food was excellent. The menu featured small and regular size dishes. They had specials on the menu. I ended up with the pasta, my wife had the burger. Both were awesome and above average. We definitely will be back soon!

Loved it. Wine choices were delicious. Good beer selection. All the dishes were very good - carrots were better than I thought a carrot dish could be. Hummus, cheese were good. Burgers requested to be medium and they were a bit on the medium rare side but still good. Special pasta dish was excellent just consider it a small plate and not an entree. The table for 4 was a bit small but we managed. Will be going back.

Had an incredible Pinot Noir from Burgundy last night, as well as a sparkling Malvasia from Emilia Romana. Amazing food to match!

I was really excited To try this new restaurant in town And it did not disappoint. Food was great. Service was great. We will be back.

New place. Decided to give it a shot. Food was good. Server was friendly and nice. Wine selection was limited for a wine bar and the place had no air condition. It was 100 degrees. Worth another visit but maybe in the winter.

Hi There! We're sorry that there were some issues with our air conditioning when you visited, there are definitely challenges to operating in a building from 1810. We made some improvements since your last visit and we can assure you that we do have air conditioning and it is comfortable in here should you decide to return in Summer. As for the wines, we currently have 9 wines available by the glass, as well as around 50 bottles to choose from. Our servers are always happy to work with you on a recommendation if you have any questions about the selection. Thanks!
