The historic Ostrich Inn Colnbrook, Heathrow, dates back 900 years to 1106–supposedly the third oldest inn in England. With bar, restaurant, private dining areas and function space as well as bedrooms it caters to a range of guest requirements and modern expectations.
Today you can enjoy honest, tasty pub food, fresh local ingredients, in relaxed and comfortable surroundings, yet only a stones throw from Heathrow Airport and main transport links. Serving wine by the glass or bottle and a choice of real ales.
Exterior exhibits a wonky timbered facade, but lots of care and attention has been spent bringing this former coaching inn up to date, expect dark slate floors, open fireplace, brilliant jewel colours & stained glass, as well as sand-blasted beams & a cobbled courtyard.

We were looking for a place to have lunch near Heathrow airport. We wanted somewhere with a nice authentic atmosphere and good food, without it being fussy or too expensive. The Ostrich Inn was perfect. Loved the ambience. Very good food - although we only had the lunch menu.

We were staying at a local hotel before flying from Heathrow the next day and The Ostrich Inn was only a short walk away. The food was lovely and the service was excellent.

We came in late after a long day of travel and had the last sitting. Loved the setting and the history all around us! Unfortunately, we were traveling with a nursing newborn that had a case of the screamies. The staff could not have been more helpful and gave us a more secluded area at the back of the dining room where the baby could nurse while we ate and no shade was given when she was upset and crying. The food was OUTSTANDING and the chef even came out to greet us. We loved our experience! The staff were amazing and this place couldn't be any cooler. Had a gorgeous little beer garden we'd have loved to sit in another time.

Really enjoyed the Ostrich Inn. Great old English Inn with a lot of history. Friendly staff and great food.

The food choice was quite limited to be honest. All dishes had some form of potato; not good for a low carb diet. However, I was able to improvise. The waitress who served us was lovely, really friendly and polite. I’ve been there many, many times and will continue to go. I have nothing negative to say about this place 👍👍👍

Warm welcome with friendly helpful service. The atmosphere was ideal to take overseas customers that were interested in the history of the building, and with the food being brilliant that was an added bonus for them.

1st visit for Sunday Roast. Very limited on beers. Service was slow. Meal was not very hot when it arrived. Roast Beef was very rare. Hardly any gravy like a dessert spoonful. I asked for more which was supplied in a little jug. Food portions were good. Staff not very attentive . Did not ask if everything was OK. When ready to pay the bill. Absolutely nobody around to pay bill. Both had dissappeared on a break. On looking at the bill later when I got home, I was charged 50p for the extra gravy. I was not told at the time that there would be an extra charge. The meal on the expensive side. I would expect a much greater standard of service for the price. I was disappointed.

Very enjoyable breakfast with excellent customer service. The child in our party is from the Middle East and is used to boiled eggs for breakfast. Although they weren't on the menu, the kitchen was happy to cook a couple for us. The server was also very friendly and welcoming.
