Tremendous dining experience! Truly wonderful in every respect: service, ambience, food, drinks and wine list. Our only regret is not having longer to enjoy the restaurant - we dined before attending a performance close by. Perhaps the finest wait staff on the East Coast. Can’t wait to visit Boston again just to dine at Ostra!

I love this place. I ate there for the first time the last time I was in town and now I plan to make it a habit every time I visit. The staff is gracious and I appreciated the “welcome back” comment from the maître d'. The food was incredible and the attention to the vegetables given that this is a seafood restaurant is much appreciated, so delicious. The wait staff treated us like we were over for dinner at their house, so warm and welcoming.

The oysters were exquisite. For Paella, the calamari and octopus were frozen, not fresh. This is a serious minus for a place of this level. Vine choice is perfect.

Ostra in Boston is an exceptional dining experience that I can’t recommend highly enough. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, setting the perfect tone for the evening. We started with the appetizers: I opted for the grilled octopus, while my date chose the ricotta gnocchetti. The grilled octopus was perfectly tender, with a delicate char that elevated its flavor profile—a standout start that promised a memorable meal. The ricotta gnocchetti was also a hit, delightfully pillowy with just the right touch of richness. For the main course, I had the swordfish tomahawk special. It was impeccably cooked, moist and flavorful, with a presentation that underscored Ostra’s attention to detail. My date's choice, the monkfish, was equally impressive, balancing savory and subtle notes with skill. The combination of textures and flavors in both dishes highlighted the kitchen’s expertise and creativity. We paired our meals with the Amber Elixir, a drink that added a nuanced sweetness to the savory dishes. It complemented the food beautifully without overpowering it. Beyond the cuisine, the service at Ostra was impeccable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in ensuring we had a great experience. The only caveat? It was undoubtedly an expensive night out. However, for those seeking a special occasion meal that delivers on every front—from food and drink to service—Ostra is worth the splurge. Overall, Ostra delivered an outstanding dining experience, with dishes that were as delicious as they were thoughtfully prepared. It’s a place I’d revisit for future celebrations or whenever I’m in the mood for an unforgettable meal.

Great meal at Ostra- service was top notch and waiter helped to move us through quickly so we could make our 7pm show. Food and drinks were very tasty.

Pedimos un gin tonic, y lo tuvieron que cambiar porque venía en vaso de tubo y sin gas, increíble que no tengan copa de balón o similar para poner un gin tonic, porque lo cobran a $16. El tar tar de salmón estaba ok, el pulpo estaba medio duro y ningun parecido con un pulpo español. Pedimos dos platos que terminaron siendo de pasta aunque no era eso lo que decía la carta y el ningún momento la mesera nos advirtió, hasta el punto que al servirlo nos dijeron parecen iguales pero no lo son. El servicio regular, nada que ver para un sitio supuestamente de nivel con unos precios de restaurante de lujo. Muy caro para la calidad de la comida, jamás lo recomendaría. Slds
