Enjoyed dining in lounge area where it felt private and pleasant and not dark. Our server, Graham, was attuned to our party and graciously took some photos, too.

Montana was our server!! She’s awesome! Had a wonderful anniversary dinner and tried the family style which allowed us to sample so many items from the menu. Will definitely be back!

The antipasti was delicious, but the lobster ravioli was too strong with the bay leaf oil, and it was not something I cared for. The ricotta fritters were delicious until a sharp plastic shard penetrated my gum. However, they did comp half our meal.

The whole experience was amazing. The ambiance is elevated to make you feel like you are outside of Athens. The food is amazing as well.

Our 4th visit and pasta tonight was tough compared to earlier visits. Lovely venue, wonderful service and all else very good.

Amazing place definitely will recommend for a date . The food was great and the drinks . The restaurant and the building everything look elegant .

I’ve lived in Athens for 19 years. There are so many consistently great restaurants here. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Osteria Olio. Having made a reservation almost 3 weeks in advance I was a little disappointed to be seated by the door, but that was minor. The main failure was being rushed into ordering. Waitress told us we couldn’t order drinks and an appetizer and decide on mains later after perusing a little more. We asked for a couple minutes to decide and waitress promised they’d stagger the courses, but chef preferred to have whole order at once. As we feared, everything came out at once and we felt like we had to try to rush to eat everything before it was cold. Flavors were good overall. A fair amount of nuance to the pasta dishes. The three sides we ordered were disappointing. I enjoyed the pasta I ordered but wasn’t what i expected. I like spicy, but it was surprisingly spicy for an Italian dish. I may have misread, but I expected cream sauce with mushrooms and it was more tomato and herb and meat. One of my favorite things about Donna Changs/Dinner Party, may it rest in peace, was how well the menu was written. Osterio Olio isn’t quite diametrically opposite, the menu sounds enticing, but it’s a bit deceptive. I won’t go back in the near future. Maybe for a pizza and a cocktail on the patio on a weeknight. Def not on a weekend. They were 2/3rd full and the waitress blamed things coming out all at once on getting busy, then commented again on being busy when she brought our check immediately after asking me “y’all aren’t interest in dessert are you?” We went to Slaters for a glass of wine and dessert afterward. Was very nice. Almost totally redeemed the evening. I just can’t get over how inflexible they are, forcing you into deciding everything in the first 5 minutes. If I’m spending close to $200 on a dinner for two, I want to enjoy it at a reasonably leisurely pace. We’ll stick to Seabear, The National, and LRG going forward

The food was amazing but they only offered bunch. We were expecting a full menu and where not interested in breakfast or pizza that was disappointing however we did have the steak and eggs and breakfast sandwich which was excellent and the cocktails where on point. Would highly recommend

I’ll try not to over exaggerate here… but it was one of the best meals from start to finish I’ve ever had. My wife and I did the chef’s tasting menu. Our server, Morgan, hooked us up with amazing dishes. If you are in the Athens area. This is a must!
