The restaurant is beautiful and the severs are very friendly however many things went wrong with our experience at Ostereria Olio. It was our first time so we decided to try the family tasting which puts your selections at the hands of the waiter. While you get to taste multiple courses and the server asks you for any preferences or dislikes you may get what is the cheapest selections or whatever is selling less for the day. We ordered the family tasting and specified we didnt like spicy and for dessert we were not fan of tiramisu or chocolate. 1. We asked for the burratta for antipastii. They had just opened for dinner service and was surprised when they said they were running out and we would get the last one but they ended up of giving it to another table. Strike one. 2. The pizza had spicy sausage which was one of our requests not to have. Strike two. 3. The caccio e peppe was delicious but brought luke warm. Strike three. 4. Finally my wife was pumped for the dessert and guess what? Tiramisu arrived at the table. We told the server we didnt like tiramisu and they proceeded to bring a hazelnut chocolate cake. Strike four The waiters apologized and gave us a complimentary olive cake to go which was a nice gesture but overall the experience was marred by bad service and dissapointing selections. Overall the food was delicious but for the price you pay I was expecting better service and attention to detail at Osteria Olio. I probably would give it another try in the future but definitely will select my menu next time and not leave it at their hands.

Food was good. Service was okay. Felt rushed. Server went really fast over the menu and kept asking if we were ready to order. Generally when we go to a nice restaurant, we like to take a little bit of time to have a drink and chat. I get that you need to turn tables over but we didn’t get seated until 9. I wish I had known layout of restaurant. We were seated at a 4 top right by the kitchen and it was loud and busy. I would recommend asking for a table by the window or a booth. We will go back. It’s a beautiful hotel and food was good but some tweaking is needed.

Staff went above and beyond to make our son’s 13th birthday dinner so very special. The food and service were phenomenal-but the personal touches on the table really sent the dinner over the top. Thank you, Osteria Olio team for the delicious and memorable evening and for encouraging a budding young foodie to continue on his culinary adventures!

Very nice Italian addition to the good Athens restaurant scene, this one off the beaten downtown path. Foodies will love bread and honey butter, burrata, meatballs and any of the hand made pasta, spaghetti, grilled artichoke hearts. Better reserve early!

Osteria Olio is an absolutely stunning restaurant. Overall the food is very good, unfortunately, there aren't very many options if you need to restrict gluten and cow dairy.

First time dining at Osteria Olio, with my wife. The place is very nice, amazing cocktails at the bar, that you can take outside while waiting for your table. We felt the place was very welcoming, relax atmosphere. The Italian-inspired food was excellent, and the service was efficient but not overwhelming. A bit on the pricy side for Athens, but price/quality still very reasonable overall. Will come back!

A birthday hit! We got the chef's table and with Thomas' great service and the delicious dishes and drinks, we and our birthday girl were in heaven.

Different food that was cleverly plated. Enjoyed the celery on the grilled swordfish. Emma was a great server. She seemed to know the menu well and has great suggestions. Outside seating was beautiful. A few bees but they weren’t bothersome.
