This has become our new favorite restaurant on the westside. The food is spectacular, which is something you mist hear often. The watstaff however is most excellent. We made a reservation including a wheelchair user and found that the hostess had planned for us, preparing a very accessible table , removing the chair and graciously directed ua to our seat without need to mention. Likewise, our disabled party member requires a straw to drink since raising the glass is not possible. Not only did the waitstaff rapidly secure a straw when asked, he noticed as our meal went on that we might be better served with a taller glass that better positions the straw. He subtlety came with a new glass and straw which made our meal more enjoyable. These kindnesses seem small, but never in the past 10 years dinig in the westside have we encountered such a thoughtful, kind and professional waitstaff. Thank you. We will become regular patrons. cacio de pepe , egglpant rolls, tortelli and gnocchi are the best we have tast

We had the best dining experience EVER! The food was fantastic (langoustine appetizer, zucchini blossoms, focaccia with truffle cheese spread, lemon tagliatelle, lamb chops, and bread pudding for dessert). Our server, Jean, could not have been more welcoming and fun. Alessia (also a server there) was extremely friendly and made great food suggestions. The chef, Nicola, what can I say? His dishes are masterpieces, and we felt like we were in someone's home in Italy. He came out from cooking to visit with us for quite some time. We closed down the restaurant for the night and will DEFINITELY be making this one of our go-to neighborhood restaurants.

My husband and I have been coming to this neighbor hood gem for years and were a bit skeptical with the new name change. Chef Nicola has brought his elevated Italian cuisine to Osteria Vera. We were happy that there were a few signature dishes that stayed on the menu. The table side pasta Cacio E Pepe and the Sogliola. The Food was outstanding and the service was very attentive. Definitely will be back.

4 of us got various pastas. They were all terrific. I had the Lattuga salad which was pretty much a Caesar but with crispy polenta cubes which were outstanding. Wine list was good but pricey. A group of 8 came in and then it got noisy. Had a delicious dinner and will be back. This was our second time dining at O.V.

Overall good to very good. First time at this restaurant. Not a stand out but a good reliable where we can bring our own wine for a $40 corkage.
