Osteria Saporino is a family owned and operated Italian BYOB in Huntingdon Valley. We offer our unique take on the rich Italian and Mediterranean culinary traditions. While respecting the classics we take the opportunity to bring out innovative dishes inspired from local, fresh and natural ingredients.

Forgot that it was a BYOB but we survived. The Bread comes out cold and the olive oil on the table could use some seasoning. Caesar salad was lackluster no anchovies, no cheese. The Fig salad with arugula was tasty. The Steak Au Poivre was served with fries and very pedestrian. The Pappardelle with seafood looked small but was very filling and tasty. Tiramisu freshly homemade was delicious. All in all, a mixed bag.

I had the the gnocchi! It was amazing! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal, however the wait staff was inattentive. We waited for over a half hour for the check and that was after asking different people for it 3x… extra plates and condiments were never brought, hence the lower rating.

The restaurant was very noisy this evening and it was hard to hear the waitstaff. While our server was friendly, she disappeared for a while. It did take a noticeably long time for our entrees to be served. I suspect they had a number of large parties that bogged down the kitchen. I’ve been here before and didn’t experience these delays. If the weather permits, dine outside. The terrace is lovely. They’ve done a good job hiding the fact that you are overlooking a strip mall parking lot. Also quieter out there. The food was good - nothing to complain about but also nothing to rave about.

Excellent food. Good service. Good value. Ate outdoors which was pleasant and quiet but looked at parking lot. Have been there several times and will definitely go back.

sat outside; it was really nice. the food is great. we love the grilled octopus and calimari appetizer and the shrmp and scallop scampi. the servers are great.
