The biggest issue is that the pasta portions were extremely small, more like an appetizer than an entree. I ordered the ravioli al pesto and there were legit only 5 raviolis. We had to order a side of fries to feel like we had an actual meal. The food tasted good, but it came out literally 2 minutes after ordering so it was suspicious. Next biggest issue is that you can’t choose between outdoor and indoor seating and the outdoor seating is abysmal, but that’s a given for downtown restaurants. The waiters were nice and the food tasted good, but honestly, Olive Garden is better.

We dined very early so we were the only guests. That gave us super ultra service.

Our food was brought to us cold. The squash blossoms were terrible and actually inedible because they were super tough. You wouldn’t think that you could make swash blossoms be tough, but apparently you’d be wrong. Eggplant appetizer was cold, even though it was supposedly baked. Chicken Parmesan was nothing that it should’ve been. Spaghetti was terrible. It’s a shame because I really wanted to write positive things about this restaurant.

Out go-to place whenever we go to the theater at Balboa or the Civic Center. Fantastic food, great service. A bit expensive, but well worth it. The only weird thing is that they played remixed disco music all night at an Italian restaurant.

The manager of the restaurant was attentive to us and anything we needed throughout the whole dinner. Her recommendations based on our taste preferences were spot on, and the food was cooked exactly to our liking! We will definitely be coming here again.

The food and ambience were good. Our waiter became annoyed with us at some point and was short and less than personable which negatively impacted our overall experience.
